Before you begin: The Apple Search Ads data source requires that you invite TapClicks Apple ID as an API Account Read Only user.
Instructions:
Connect to Apple Search Ads Data Source
1] Navigate to your Apple Search Ads account and in the upper right click Sign In.
2] Choose your account type: Basic or Advanced.
3] When the Sign in screen appears, enter your Apple ID and password and click the arrow.
4] If two factor authentication is required, enter the verification code.
5] When the Search Ads page appears, in the upper right, click on your name.
6] From the dropdown menu, locate the desired account and click Settings.
7] On the Account Settings page, click the User Management tab.
8] Click Invite Users.
9] Fill in TapClicks Apple ID, select the API Account Read Only radio button and click Send Invite.
10] After you’ve completed the invitation process, reach out to your customer success manager or email customercare@tapclicks.com. Provide your Apple Search Ads account name, as well as the TapClicks instance you wish to integrate. Your TapClicks team will complete the remaining steps for the integration.
NOTE: Once the Apple Search Ads connection is completed, you will be notified and will be able to start assigning advertisers for data ingestion. |
Assign Advertisers for Data Integration
11] Login to TapClicks and on the Data menu, click Data Sources.
12] The menu of data sources appears.
13] To locate the Apple Search Ads data source, either scroll through the list of data sources or enter the data source into the search box in the upper right (results appear automatically).
14] On the Apple Search Ad data source, click Assign to Clients.
15] To assign your Apple Search Ads data to a TapClicks client, on the left side click on the data you want to assign.
16] To assign it to a client, on the right side choose a client from the existing client dropdown (as shown) or create a new client to assign it to by typing in the box to the right.
17] Edit General Settings, Additional Information and Primary Contact Information for the client record as needed and then click Assign Client.
18] After the data source is connected and data is assigned, you can either click Update My Dashboard or wait until the regular data fetch occurs for data to start flowing into your dashboard.
Congratulations! You have connected your Apple Search Ads data to your TapClicks client records.
What’s Next?
For new assignments between a data source and TapClicks client records, an initial data fetch will occur. Each data source has a different lookback period which determines the amount of historical data that is fetched (measured in months, weeks, or days). To view the lookback period for this service and the status of your data fetches as a whole, click Data Load Status in the Data Management menu on the left side of your dashboard.
