Building a PowerPoint template involves modifying a slide master and a set of slide layouts. Every version of PowerPoint is different, so check the Office website for more details.
How to create a PPT template
- Save your file as .potx (yes, that isn't a typo... not .pptx)
- After saving the template as a .potx file, open the Preferences tab under the Administration menu
- Select the Templates tab
- Click on “Select template” and browse your files and upload your template.
- Choose the PowerPoint template to match your company's unique branding.
Currently, you can only upload one template for the system.
Can I have different PPT templates for my Business Units?
Yes, you can! In order to set the unique PowerPoint template for the Business Units you just need to upload it in the Business Unit settings. This setting will override the dashboard wide template when pulling reports for clients in that Business Unit or for the entire Business Unit.
Note that you can not set unique PowerPoint templates for clients or client groups as of yet.
