Before you begin: The bulk import feature allows you to both add and edit clients in bulk, as well as export a full list of all the clients you have in the dashboard.
How to Bulk Import Clients
1] On the left side menu, click Admin.
2] On the Admin menu click Clients.
3] In the upper right of the Clients page, click the Upload Clients icon.
4] When the Upload Clients popup appears, click Download CSV Guide. You will use this file as a template to load your client information.
5] The Clients-upload-sample.csv file should be in your Downloads folder. Open it and fill in at least the two required fields for each new client (see below), and any other additional fields:
- Company Name
- Default Data Profile
6] When you have the client file completely loaded with clients, in the Upload Clients popup click Choose File.
7] Navigate to the file on you local machine (it may still be in Downloads if you haven't saved it somewhere else) and click Open.
8] Click Upload. A summary will appear to show you what succeeded (and what failed, if any, with a reason why).
How to Bulk Export Clients
9] On the left side menu, click Admin.
10] On the Admin menu click Clients.
11] In the upper right of the Clients page, click the Download Clients icon.
12] The Clients.csv file should be in your Downloads folder. What downloads is a full listing of all clients in the dashboard with their details.
Troubleshooting
Please note that you can download this list and edit existing clients in bulk. Just be sure that when you are doing so you DO NOT ALTER the Client ID as it is generated by the TapClicks system and it is how the system determines what needs updating versus what is new. Also, make sure that all entries maintain a Company Name and a Default Data Profile.
