What connections are available for Yelp?
There are two Instant-on Connectors for Yelp, each with their own login credentials:
- Yelp Ads
- Yelp API
Note: You will need to get your API credentials directly from Yelp. If you don’t already have API credentials, please reach out to your Yelp representative to generate these for you. This is a different username and password then is used to login to Yelp.
This article will describe step-by-step how to connect your Yelp accounts to TapClicks.
How to connect Yelp Ads
To connect Yelp Ads as a Data Source,
- Log in to TapClicks platform
- In the left pane, click Data Sources and then click Manage Data Sources.
- In the Search box in the top right corner of the screen, type Yelp and press Enter.
- Click Yelp Ads
- Add Account screen appears.
- Enter the credentials and click Add Account.
How to connect Yelp API
To connect Yelp API as a Data Source,
- Log in to TapClicks platform
- In the left pane, click Data Sources and then click Manage Data Sources.
- In the Search box in the top right corner of the screen, type Yelp and press Enter.
- Click Yelp API
- Add Account screen appears.
- Enter the credentials and click Add Account.
After completing the steps, click Update My Dashboard to complete the process.
TapClicks will start pulling the data from Yelp.
Why isn't Yelp connecting?
You have put in a Yelp Business Id and have chosen a Business Id Label and yet it still won't connect in TapClicks. The reason behind this is that the Yelp Business Id has no reviews associated with it.
