Before you begin: This guide shows you how to conduct competitive research on a single SEO keyword or phrase.
How to Enter the Keyword or Phrase
To conduct keyword research, you start by entering a keyword or phrase into a search box.
1] Login to TapClicks and, on the left side menu, click Raven.
2] Click SEO Research.
3] The SEO Research page appears. Enter the keyword or phrase into the search box.
4] From the dropdown menu, select your country.
5] Click Search.
6] The summary page appears, displaying the keyword in the upper left corner.
How to Interpret Top SEO Competitors' Data
Interpreting top SEO competitors' data means identifying those entities ranking high for that keyword. It includes search engine rank, share of voice, and keyword count.
7] The list of top SEO competitors appears, ranked by share of voice. Share of voice represents the overall potential organic traffic the URL receives for the keyword in question. The calculation factors in the weight of each search engine.
8] Top Organic Competitors by Share of Voice can also be seen in the graph to the right. Hover your mouse over the graph to see the share of voice for that competitor.
9] Click any competitor in the Competitor list to view their page.
10] Click the View More button below the graph to see more competitors.
11] To export the list of competitors, go to SEO Competitors tab and click Export. The data is exported in .XLSX format.
How to Interpret Related Keywords Data
Interpreting related keywords involves identifying keywords most closely related to the keyword in question. It includes relevancy score, search volume, and cost-per-click estimates.
12] On the SEO Summary page, scroll down to the Related Keywords section. The list of related keywords appears ranked according to relevancy score. Relevancy score measures how closely a related keyword matches the original keyword based on factors like context, search intent, and content similarity.
13] Click on any keyword to be taken to that keyword's page.
14] Click the View More button below the table to see more keywords.
15] To export the list of keywords, go to the Related Keywords tab and click Export. The data is exported in .XLSX format.
