This document contains frequently asked questions that arise when using the Kenshoo data source. You can quickly navigate to a particular FAQ by using the table of contents below.
What fields (metrics) are available?
Why don't I see Kenshoo data in my dashboard for "Yesterday"?
How do I connect to Kenshoo?
The Kenshoo API allows partners like TapClicks to pull reporting data through the Kenshoo API. This is configured based on scheduled reports that are defined within the Kenshoo user interface (UI).
What fields (metrics) are available?
After you connect a data source to TapClicks, you can use that data in your reports. These fields are organized into groups of similar types of data called Data Views. You can view all fields and data views for a given data source in the Connector Marketplace. For Kenshoo, you will find a list of all dimensions and metrics available for use in TapClicks, organized by data view, here: Kenshoo metrics in the Connector Marketplace.
Why don't I see Kenshoo data in my dashboard for "Yesterday"?
When fetching data from Kenshoo, TapClicks tries to get data for “yesterday”. Sometimes, that data is not ready on the Kenshoo side yet and the Kenshoo API returns an error. When this happens, TapClicks updates the data fetch to request data for the day before yesterday. Because of this, your dashboard may not have data for “yesterday” if the data was not ready to be pulled through the Kenshoo API.
