What does the AI Operator Agent do on Calculations?
The AI Operator Agent for Calculations allows users to create custom calculated fields using plain-language prompts. This tool automatically generates transformation logic based on your description—no formulas, syntax, or code required.
The AI-generated logic can be used for a wide range of calculation needs, including ROI metrics, data cleanup, naming conventions, and multi-field operations. This helps reduce manual effort, avoid errors, and accelerate time to insight.
How to use the AI Operator Agent for Calculations
1] Log in to TapClicks and, on the Data menu, click Calculations.
2] The calculations page will open. To access the AI Agent, either create a new calculation by clicking Add New Calculation button (plus icon) in the upper-right corner of the page.
3] Or click the Edit Button (pencil icon) on a calculation you want to change.
4] For a new calculation, name it and then select a Data Type, Source, and View for the dropdown boxes.
5] On the right-side of the page, click the Sparkle Icon.
6] In the prompt box, enter a plain-language description of the logic you need and click Submit.
7] The AI Agent will generate the corresponding calculation logic and populate it into the text editor view of the calculation builder.
| Note: Text Editor Calculations must be enabled in your instance to use the AI Operator Agent. If this feature is not currently available, please contact your Customer Success Manager to have it enabled. |
8] Click Verify to ensure the logic. You can make edits manually or with the prompt box if the calculation does not work as expected.
9] Click Save to complete setup.
