OAuth Integrations
Many connections use an OAuth Authentication. You likely use this OAuth Authentication to sign in to different accounts when there's a pop-up window asking you to "please select an account" when using your Google or Facebook credentials. For added security, these connections expire after some time (set by the data source). This article describes how to re-establish the connection to keep your data flowing into TapClicks.
Note: Ensure you are logged into the Data Source with the affected account to update the token. Do not disconnect the integration. |
For OAuth-based integrations (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Ads), follow these steps:
1] Log in to TapClicks and, on the Data menu, click Data Sources.
2] Navigate to and click on the Data Source that you would like to re-authenticate.
3] Click the Add Connection button.
OR
1] On the Data menu, click Data Sources.
2] Click on the green plug icon in the upper-right corner of the Data Source tile you would like to re-authenticate.
3] The Manage Connections modal will appear. Select the proper connection from the drop-down menu.
4] Click on the Re-authenticate button.
Example
Let's say you have an error with your Facebook Ads connection. Ensure you are logged into business.facebook.com with the affected account and your updated password. Then in TapClicks, select the "Add Account" button. This should resolve your connection. Your existing assignments will remain intact as long as you do not disconnect the account.

Non-OAuth Integrations
These integrations typically require a username and password combination or another form of authentication besides OAuth.
For the non-OAuth based integrations (i.e., Klaviyo, Yext, Adobe Advertising Cloud) do the following:
1] On the Data menu, click Data Sources.
2] Click the Manage Connections button (green plug icon) in the upper-right corner of the Data Source tile you would like to re-authenticate.
3] Click the Edit button.
4] The Edit Connection modal will appear. Update all the information in this screen to be accurate and click Edit Account when finished.
5] A confirmation pop-up will appear, prompting you to confirm the credential change.
