Why can’t I see my SnapChat Ads preview, it just says “No Preview Available”?
Check to see what kind of snap it is. Currently, only “Image” type snaps can be shown as preview thumbnails. “Videos” will have a URL link to the full video. All other types will not show an image preview.
How come my “Click to View” links aren’t doing anything?
This depends on the type of content in the URL string. Some pieces of content can be downloaded and others cannot.
Can I get my SnapChat Ads data according to my attribution window?
Yes! TapClicks supports the ability to configure your attribution window needs for a given SnapChat Ads connection. To take advantage of this, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or customercare@tapclicks.com and indicate which SnapChat Ads connection you want to update and what attribution settings you would like and the team will take it from there.
Why don't my Paid Reach and Frequency metrics in SnapChat Ads match what I see in TapClicks?
The difference in how Paid Reach and Frequency metrics are calculated in Snapchat Ads and TapClicks can cause confusion. TapClicks fetches data daily, so the metrics should match when comparing day-by-day. However, they won't match over a date range, as Snapchat uses unique calculations for such periods that only they can compute. To avoid this, we recommend using an On Demand Widget to refresh the data whenever needed. Learn more: How to Build an On Demand Widget.
Where are my SnapChat Ads custom events?
You can find SnapChat Ads custom events under the Conversions Extended data view.
What if I need data from SnapChat Ads that TapClicks doesn’t quite support?
There are a few ways to approach this situation.
1] Create a Smart Connector to bring data into your dashboard.
- This will allow you to get to your data fast.
- This path could be used in the long term.
- Or you can use this path while waiting for an enhancement to the SnapChat Ads connector.
2] Submit a request to the product team to evaluate bringing this data into the Instant On connector.
- Make sure to include report extract examples so that we can review exactly the dimensions and metrics you’re looking for in your dashboard.

What fields are available for this data source?
After you connect a data source to TapClicks, you can use that data in your reports. These fields are organized into groups of similar types of data called Data Views. You can view all fields and data views for a given data source in the Connector Marketplace.
