Before you begin: Feedback from our users is important to us. To that end we created the TapClicks Product Feedback Portal. With the Product Feedback Portal, you'll be able to do all of the following:
- Submit your feature requests and feedback directly to our product team
- Vote on features we're considering adding
- View features we're planning to release in the future
- Receive updates from our team as we make progress on new features
Here is what the portal looks like:
How to Access the Portal
1] On the left side menu, click the help (?) icon.
2] From the popup menu, choose Product Feedback Portal.
3] The portal has a tabbed menu at the top: Under Consideration, Planned and Launched.
4] Portal cards are grouped based on the areas of the product (e.g., Reporting & Analytics, Connectors).
5] Features are represented as Portal Cards which you can click on to view additional details.
How to Vote on a Feature
6] Start by clicking the Portal Card you want to vote on.
7] In the lower right corner, click the button that indicates how important that feature is to you: Nice To Have, Important or Critical). NOTE: The number next to the feature name is the number of votes that feature has already received.
8] In the textbox that appears, provide details about why this feature is important to you. The details you provide here will be very helpful for our product team to understand the problems you’re facing and determine the best way to solve them. The more details you provide, the better. Helpful things to include in your submission:
What action are you trying to accomplish (e.g., I want to view dashboards from my iPhone)
What problem are you encountering (e.g., dashboards are not rendering correctly on my iPhone)
Links to any screenshots or images
9] Enter your email address in the lower textbox and click Submit.
10] You will be asked to confirm your email.
11] When the email arrives, click the Confirm email button. Once you click it you will see the success notification.
How to Submit a Feature Request
12] In the upper right of the portal, click the Submit Idea button.
13] The Submit new idea popup appears.
14] In the large textbox, provide us with details about what feature / functionality you would like to have and how it would help you. The details you provide here will be very helpful for our product team to understand the problems you’re facing and determine the best way to solve them. The more details you provide, the better.
15] Click the button that indicates how important this new feature is to you.
16] Enter your email in the lower textbox and click Submit.
Is there a limit to how many feature requests I can submit?
No. We love hearing from our users and welcome you to submit as much feedback as you would like.
Is it necessary to verify my email address when submitting feedback?
Yes. Without verifying your email address, your vote or feature request will not get submitted into the system. You will only need to verify your email address once. Once verified, you should be able to vote and submit new ideas without going through the process again. The success message indicates that your submission has been accepted.
When can I expect an update on my feature request?
Our product team receives a lot of feedback and feature requests. We make sure to read through every piece of feedback to ensure our customer’s voice is heard. After we read the submitted feedback, we go through an extensive process of planning, collecting more details, speaking with customers, designing and prioritization. This process takes time so you shouldn’t be expecting an immediate update.
When submitting a new idea, once we have gotten to a point where the submitted feature is under consideration, we will add it to the Product Feedback Portal and allow other users to vote for it.
Once our product team has an update on the feature request, we will post an update in the portal and also send you an email to let you know that we’re making progress.
How can I add an image / screenshot to my feature request?
Unfortunately this functionality is not currently supported. We recommend using a free screenshot taking tool such as TechSmith Capture which will allow you to share screenshots by generating a URL link.
