Data Views are a way of organizing a database. Each Data Source (e.g., Facebook, Google Ads) often contains several Data Views, which in turn contain multiple fields. When building reports, it is helpful to know where to find the list of fields for Data Sources and how they map to Data Views. This reduces the time spent looking for specific fields or Data Views.
This article explains where to find a list of fields for a Data View and how they map to their respective Data Views. Access to these pages may be restricted depending on your account's user permissions. If you cannot replicate these steps, please contact your administrator for assistance.
You will find this information in a tab on the Data Profile pages. Follow these instructions to locate this data.
1] Log in to TapClicks and, on the Admin menu, click Data Profiles.
2] A list of Data Profiles on your account will appear. Click the name of the desired Data Profile.
3] The Data Profile details page will appear. From the available headers, click Data Sources.
4] In the left panel, select the desired Data Source to view its fields and associated data.
5] Under the Data Source name, click the Detail Grids header to display field mappings.
6] This will display all fields for the selected Data Source, organized by Data View.
