Before you begin: Before using AI Context, confirm that you have access to the Clients section in the Admin menu and the appropriate permissions to edit business settings. AI-powered features such as AI Insights Agents, SmartEmail, or SmartSlides must be enabled for your account. AI Context is optional, and AI features will continue to function using existing dashboard data and client metadata if no additional context is added.
Overview
The AI Context tab allows users to upload and manage business-specific information to improve the accuracy and alignment of AI-powered features in TapClicks. When a client filter is applied, TapClicks automatically includes:
- Existing metadata (e.g., Website, Client Category, NAICS Code, City, State/Province)
- Uploaded files
- Additional Instructions entered in the AI Context tab
This information is automatically included with each AI request for the selected client. As a result, outputs generated by AI Insights Agents, SmartEmail, SmartSlides, Adflo agents, and Operator Agents are more aligned with defined goals, KPIs, and brand tone.
All AI Context fields are optional. AI features will continue to function using dashboard data and existing metadata if no context is added.
AI Context is available for both Clients and Client Groups, and each is managed independently. AI Context configured for an individual client will not affect the AI Context of any Client Group that client belongs to, and vice versa. To update AI Context for a Client or Client Group, simply follow the steps below.
How to Use AI Context for Clients
1] Log in to TapClicks and, on the Admin menu, select Clients.
2] Scroll, use the searchbox, or use the filters at the top of the page to locate the desired client. Once found, click the Edit (pencil) icon on the right side of the page.
3] From the available headers at the top of the page, select the AI Context tab. If the AI Context tab is not visible, the feature may not be enabled for your account or your user role may not have the required permissions. Contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
4] In the File Upload section, click the upload area.
5] Upload a file of the supported formats:
- .csv
- .xlsx
- .doc
- .docx
- .txt
- .json
| Note: Up to 5 files per client are supported, with a maximum file size of 20 MB per file. Uploaded files are automatically referenced during AI calls for the selected client. If a file is deleted, it is fully removed from AI Context and will no longer be used. |
6] Use the Prompt Guidance section and the Additional Context textbox to further tailor the client’s AI context.
7] When finished, click Save at the bottom of the page.
