Instructions:
Locate your Data Source
1] Login to TapClicks and on the Data menu, click Data Sources.
2] The menu of data sources appears.
3] To locate your data source, either scroll through the list of data sources or enter the data source into the search box in the upper left (results appear automatically).
4] On your data source, click Connect.
Form-Based Connection
5] The Add account popup appears. In this section, we have used Shout About Us as an example.
6] Enter all your relevant information into the text boxes.
7] When you have finished entering your information, click Save.
8] After the data source is connected, processing your data will take some time. TapClicks will send you an email when your data is ready.
Connecting Multiple Accounts:
The following steps are optional. If you need to connect a different account with the same data source, i.e. if you want to connect more than one Shout About Us account, follow the instructions below:
1] Click the CONNECTED button on the data source.
2] In the upper right corner, click + ACCOUNT CONNECTION.
3] Enter your other account's credentials into the textboxes. Click Save when finished.
4] TapClicks will email you when your data is ready.
Open Authentication (OAuth) Based Connection
5] A login page will appear. In this section, we have used Facebook Ads as an example.
NOTE: If you are already logged into your data source, the system may authenticate with the credentials you are currently logged in with. If you need to use another account, log out before initiating the connection. |
6] Enter your relevant login information and click Log in.
7] If you are asked to authenticate TapClicks or change what it is allowed to do, activate the permissions you want to grant and click Done.
8] After you authenticate with your data source, you will land back in TapClicks. Make sure you are on the Data Sources page.
9] After the data source is connected, processing your data will take some time. TapClicks will send you an email when your data is ready.
Connecting Multiple Accounts
The following steps are optional. If you need to connect a different account with the same data source, i.e. if you want to connect more than one Facebook Ads account, follow the instructions below:
1] Click the CONNECTED button on the data source.
2] In the upper right corner, click + ACCOUNT CONNECTION.
3] Log in with the other account credentials.
4] TapClicks will email you when your data is ready.
Congratulations! You have connected your data to your TapFree instance.
What’s Next?
For new connections between a data source and TapFree, an initial data fetch will occur. Each data source has a different lookback period which determines the amount of historical data that is fetched (measured in months, weeks, or days). To view the lookback period for this Data Source and the status of your data fetches as a whole, click Data Load Status in the Data Management menu on the left side of your dashboard.
