What is Flat File integration?
Flat File integrations allow you to automatically create new orders by setting your own requirements and assigning rules to create clients, orders, and associated products. This feature accepts flat-file exports from any CRM or spreadsheet application.
How to Setup Flat File Integrations
1] Log in to TapClicks and, on the Orders menu, click Orders. The classic TapOrders UI will open.
2] From the left side menu, under Administration, click Integrations.
3] Select File integration.
4] Define the details of the file integration. (Note: These delivery types align with those supported by the Import Wizard.)
5] Specify the details of the integration by answering business-friendly questions. Automatically associate the business unit based on options from the file.
6] Specify how to determine the salesperson from the file and what to use as the update key for client records.
7] Once complete, create the necessary assigning to link the flat-file data to items in TapOrders, TapWorkflow, or Clients.
Once the item is selected, users can map each field from the source file to the corresponding field in TapClicks. This provides a highly flexible model for associating configurable forms to flat files that may not match the same structure.
The left side of the screen shows column names from the incoming CSV file, while the right side displays corresponding fields from the configurable order form or client data in TapClicks.

Super Admin Users can navigate to the Integrations tab under Administration and add a new Salesforce integration.
Once the Integration has been chosen, you will be walked through:
- Entering your credentials
- Configuring the import details around how to align new clients to Business Units and by what fields we should be assigning salespeople and clients
By default, TapClicks pulls all standard Salesforce fields during integration. Since every Salesforce setup can be customized, our integration is also fully configurable. Users can specify which custom Salesforce fields they want to include. The query with which we run to get the Accounts and Orders into our system is customizable as well. Users can put their qualifying query into the text box below and we will only pick up Accounts and Orders that qualify.
You will select how to assign the appropriate Business Unit and client group fields. Once the wizard has been completed, you will be able to view the Salesforce integration in the setup integrations section.
You can refresh or resync your Salesforce client on demand. Additionally, data is pulled automatically through a scheduled nightly job.
When you click into VIEW ASSIGNING, You will be able to edit your configuration, credentials, refresh the data and create assigning.
After creating a new assigning, users will be able to create a Client assigning.
You can enter your Salesforce fields on the left side and map them directly to our existing fields. You can reference the following document for the list of standard Salesforce Account entity fields

In an effort to simplify the assigning process, all available fields, custom, and standard will be available for selection on the TapClicks assigning side. You can also configure multiple fields to match client groups, automating client assignment into the appropriate group. If there is a need, integration can be deleted. Once configured, the integration runs nightly, prior to auto-assigning, and retrieves any client with a Closed-Won opportunity from the previous day.
