Before you begin: Preferences allow you to control the look and feel of your TapClicks instance. Additionally, you can set user permissions.
How to Control Platform Settings
1] Log in to TapClicks. On the Admin menu, click Platform Settings.
2] The Preferences page appears, displaying a tab menu across the top.
Branding Tab
3] Click the Branding tab.
4] In this tab, you can change the look and feel of your instance by changing any of the following:
- TapClicks logo in light or dark mode
- Include logo on reports
- TapClicks in light or dark mode
- Custom themes and colors or predefined themes
- Login page message
Application Tab
5] Click the Application tab.
6] In this tab, you can configure various settings for your instance, including:
- Application name
- Display currency
- Timezone
- Week start day
- Login expiration hours
- Minimum password length
- AI Initial Prompt
- Audit Logs Expiration
Dashboards Tab
7] Click the Dashboards tab.
8] In this tab, you can configure visibility settings and widget options for your dashboards.
Templates Tab
9] Click the Templates tab.
10] In this tab, you can choose to upload your PowerPoint template (.potx files only) or use the default template for your account.
11] To upload a template, drag the file into the upload box.
12] Select the Use Custom Template radio button.
Support Links Tab
13] Click the Support Links tab.
14] In this tab, you can enter support emails or URLs for business admins, agents, and clients.
Broadcast Messages Tab
| Note: The Broadcast Messages tab is only visible to users with TapProjects enabled. |
15] Click the Broadcast Messages tab.
16] In this tab, you can configure event notifications to be sent to Slack channels for the following events:
- Order created
- Order submitted
- Line item created
- Line item submitted
Orders & Workflow
17] Click the Orders & Workflow tab.
18] From the dropdown menu, select the order statuses to which you want to apply these settings. You can select multiple statuses. Click the X to remove a status.
19] Use the available sliders to configure order options.
20] If applicable, configure push connection options for Google Ads, Google Ad Manager, and Facebook Ad Manager.
AI Agents
21] Click the AI Agents tab.
22] The AI Agents page displays a list of available agents, each with a description of its purpose and the prompt it uses to generate insights.
23] From this page, you can review predefined agents, see the default prompt that powers each agent, and create custom agents as needed. The prompt explains how the agent processes data and what type of summary it generates. Use the search box or filters at the top of the list to quickly find a specific agent by name or description.
24] To add your own, click the Add New button at the top right of the page.
Finalize
25] Once all preferences are set, click Save at the bottom of the page.
