What are Client Groups?
A Client Group is a collection of clients that have similar interests, goals, or concerns and are attached to a single business unit . These groups can be used with clients who have multiple locations and require individual reporting, but also require one person to have complete data access across all locations.
You can also create a group of Client Groups, which includes multiple groups attached to a single business unit. This feature enables you to expand the reach of a Client Group multiple times. For handling bigger Client Groups, you have the ability to import/export large numbers of clients through a CSV file.
How to Create a Client Group
1] Click Admin in the left side menu.
2] Click Client Groups.
3] In the upper right, click the plus sign (+).
4] In the New Client Group screen, on the Settings tab, enter a name for the group in the Name textbox.
5] Select either the Group of Clients radio button or the Group of Client Groups radio button.
6] If you selected Group of Clients, you'll see a Clients dropdown. Select one or more clients from the dropdown list to add to the group of clients. (Click the "x" to the right of any client to remove them from the group.)
7] If you selected Group of Client Groups, you'll see a Client Groups dropdown. Select one or more client groups from the dropdown list to add to the group of client groups. (Click the "x" to the right of any client group to remove them from the group.)
8] Optionally enter your CRM ID in the CRM ID textbox.
9] From the Business Unit dropdown menu, choose the business unit you want to associate the group(s) to.
10] Click the Branding tab.
11] To upload a light or dark image (.png) logo for custom branding, click anywhere in the Logo square, navigate to the image on your computer and click Open. This logo will appear as the client group logo.
12] Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to create the new client group.
How to use Bulk Upload/Download Feature
NOTE: If you want to create a really big client group of 50 or more clients, we recommend you use the import feature. You can also export your business unit in CSV file format. |
Download Client Groups
13] On the Client Groups page, in the upper right click the Download Client Groups icon and select a location to store the CSV file.
Upload Client Groups
14] On the Client Groups page, in the upper right click the Upload Client Groups icon.
15] In the Upload Client Groups popup, click Download CSV Guide and save the file to your computer. This document serves as your guide as to how to prepare your CSV file for uploading.
16] Open the guide, create a list of clients you want to import and then save the file.
17] Back in the Upload Client Groups popup, click Choose File, navigate to the file on your computer and click Open.
18] Click Upload.
How to Edit/Delete a Client Group
Edit a Group
19] On the Client Groups page, locate the client group, in the list, you want to edit.
20] On the far right side, click the edit (i.e., pencil) icon.
21] Edit group details and when you're finished click Save.
Delete a Group
22] On the Client Groups page, locate the client group, in the list, you want to delete.
20] On the far right side, click the delete (i.e., trashcan) icon.
NOTE: You will find that some delete icons are grayed out. That means that you can not delete these client groups for one of the following reasons:

NOTE: Agents can be in charge of multiple client groups. For this they would be in charge of a group of client groups. |
