Before you begin: The bulk import feature allows you to add or edit clients in bulk and export a complete list of all the clients in the dashboard.
How to Bulk Import Clients
1] Login to TapClicks and, on the Admin menu, click Clients.
2] In the upper right corner of the Clients page, click the Upload Clients icon.
3] When the Upload Clients popup appears, click Download CSV Guide. This file serves as a template to load your client information.
4] The Clients-upload-sample.csv file should be in your Downloads folder. Open it and complete at least the two required fields for each new client (listed below), along with any other additional fields:
- Company Name
- Default Data Profile
5] When you have the client file completely loaded with clients, in the Upload Clients popup click Choose File.
6] Navigate to the file on your local machine (likely in your Downloads folder unless saved elsewhere) and click Open.
7] Click Upload. A summary will display the results, including any successes or failures with explanations.
How to Bulk Export Clients
8] In the upper right of the Clients page, click the Download Clients icon.
9] The Clients.csv file should be in your Downloads folder. This file contains a complete list of all clients in the dashboard along with their details.
Troubleshooting
You can download this list to edit existing clients in bulk. However, ensure that you do not alter the Client ID field. It is generated by the TapClicks system and is used to distinguish updates from new entries. Ensure all entries include the mandatory fields: Company Name and Default Data Profile.
