Smart Reporting
New AI Operator Agent: Widget Creation
AI Widget Creation allows users to generate reporting widgets using plain language prompts. By selecting Create Widget with AI, users can describe the data they want to see and TapClicks will automatically generate and render the widget.
The system converts the prompt into a structured widget configuration that is validated and rendered using the existing widget engine. The AI can recommend appropriate visualizations, data sources, metrics, and dimensions based on the request. This capability helps reduce manual configuration and speeds up the process of building dashboards. For more information, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or customercare@tapclicks.com.
Quick Action: Generate SmartSlides from AI Agent Insights
A new Quick Action allows users to generate a SmartSlides presentation directly from an AI Agent Insight within Dashboards. This action converts the AI-generated summary into a presentation-ready slide deck while preserving the dashboard context used to generate the insight. This streamlines the workflow from analysis to presentation and eliminates the need to manually copy insights or recreate reporting context. Access to this feature requires both AI Agent and SmartSlides permissions.
AI Context at the Client Group Level
AI Context now supports Client Groups and Groups of Client Groups, allowing users to upload shared documentation and guidance at the group level. The AI Context tab is available on Client Group records and provides the same functionality as the Client-level AI Context tab. Users can upload files and configure prompt guidance and additional instructions to standardize AI outputs across the group. This will be available on Friday, March 27.
SmartSlides Blank Template Option
Users can now start SmartSlides from a Blank Template. This allows presentations to be generated using custom prompts instead of predefined templates. Selecting the Blank Template opens a Configuration panel where users can enter instructions for slide generation. This provides greater flexibility for custom presentation workflows.
New Ask Your Dashboard AI Capability
Ask Your Dashboard is now available, allowing users to ask questions about dashboard data using natural language. The feature analyzes the data currently displayed in the dashboard and generates contextual insights.
Ask Your Dashboard now also includes filter metadata, such as client names and date ranges, when generating responses. This provides the AI with additional context and improves the accuracy of generated insights based on the filters applied in the dashboard.
TapClicks Platform
Global Filters for Cross-Instance Segmentation
Global Filters allow users to quickly filter their instance to the segments that matter most. Teams can filter the entire workspace using dimensions such as campaign, location, creative, or tactic. Global Filters work across data views when a common field exists, such as Campaign Name. They can also use calculated fields to extract segments from naming conventions. Global Filters are best suited for rule-based segmentation, while Smart Campaigns remain better for manual groupings. For more information, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or customercare@tapclicks.com.
Filters Right Side Menu UI Update
We have updated the dashboard filters right side menu to improve usability and streamline the experience.
Instead of selecting from four separate dropdowns for Client, Client Group, Business Unit, or Smart Campaigns, users now first choose the filter type and are then presented with a single, context-driven dropdown based on that selection. This reduces unnecessary options on screen and creates a cleaner, more intuitive filtering experience.
OAuth Connection Link Sharing on Manage Data Sources
Administrators can now generate and share a direct OAuth connection link from within Manage Data Sources. This allows the authorization step to be delegated to the appropriate account owner without requiring access to the platform setup.
Users can copy the generated link and send it to the individual responsible for authentication. This simplifies the connection process and reduces friction when setting up new data sources.
AI Insights & Executive Summaries List Order Update
Newly generated AI Insights and Executive Summaries now appear at the top of the list instead of the bottom. Lists are automatically ordered by creation time so the most recent items appear first. This ordering remains consistent after page refresh. The change helps users review the latest insights more quickly.
Improved New Folder Modal Design
The New Folder modal has been redesigned with a cleaner and more compact layout. The updated interface improves visual organization. It also reduces the number of interaction steps required to create a folder. This helps users manage folders more efficiently.
Pie Chart Widgets Configurable Legend Placement
Pie Charts in the New Dashboard Experience now support configurable legend placement. Users can position the legend on the left, right, or bottom (default) of the chart. This improvement helps optimize dashboard layouts and reduce unused space. It also improves readability for charts with multiple segments.
Read-Only Widget Filter Visibility for Non-Admin Users
Agents and Clients can now view filters applied to a widget in a read-only format. This improves transparency without granting edit permissions. When filters contain long or multiple values, the display will be truncated. Users can hover over the value to view the full list in a tooltip.

Improved Handling of Zero Currency Values
Currency values of $0 ingested through webhooks or flat files will now be stored and displayed as $0. Previously, these values were treated as null and appeared blank. This could make it difficult to distinguish between true zero values and missing data. This update improves visibility for make-goods and non-billed campaign items. It also improves financial reporting accuracy.
