Before you begin: When creating dashboard sections, the data source assigned to a section may not provide the level of reporting detail needed to accommodate different clients’ needs.
For example, you may sell several search packages to different clients using Google Ads, but for some clients, you may want to provide extra granularity in your reporting. In this case, assigning only the Google Ads data source will not provide the level of detail you need. However, there is another option.
You can assign a section in a dashboard to a "Product" that is tied to a particular client. By doing so, you gain more granular control and can produce visuals that represent individual customer data.
How to Create a List of Products
1] To create your list of products, on the Orders menu, click Orders.
2] On the Administration menu, click Products.
3] Click the Add New button (plus icon) at the top of the page.
4] The new Product form will appear. Fill out all of the required information and check the Active checkbox to activate the product.
5] Click OK to save your new Product.
6] Repeat steps 1-5 for each new product you want to create.
At this point, products are now available for assigning to sections in dashboards.
