Where Can I Use AI-Generated Summaries?
AI-generated summaries are available in both Dashboards and Report Studio, but it's crucial to apply the correct filters to ensure accuracy. In Dashboards, always set the date range and client filters at the top of the page before sending data to ChatGPT. These filters control which data is included in the summary, and without a client-specific filter, data from all connected clients will be sent, which can lead to irrelevant results. In Report Studio, the date is set at the widget level, and you can select a client from at the top of the report. This ensures that the widget's data for a specific timeframe and client is sent to ChatGPT, resulting in more accurate summaries.
How to Send Widget Data to ChatGPT
1] Locate the widget you want to create a summary for.
2] If you are in a dashboard, Hover your mouse over the upper right corner of the widget. The More Options icon (i.e., three dots) appears. If you are in a report, right click the widget.
3] Click the three dots to reveal the menu.
4] Click Send Data to ChatGPT in the dropdown menu. TapClicks will launch a pop-up window and display the summary automatically created by ChatGPT.
5] If you like the ChatGPT-generated summary as is and want to save it, click the Save button.
6] If you like the ChatGPT-generated summary as is and want to add it to the executive summary, check the Curated by human staff check box and then click the Add to Executive Summary button.
NOTE: If you prefer to edit the summary before saving, there are two ways to do so. See below. |
How to Edit An AI Generated Summary
7] To edit the summary directly, click the Edit AI Assistant generated summary icon (i.e., pencil icon) in the upper right.
8] Make changes in the title textbox and/or Executive Summary textbox and click Save.
9] The other way to edit the summary is by entering a prompt in the ChatGPT dialogue box at the bottom and hitting Enter on the keyboard. This will augment the executive summary with information in response to your prompt.
