What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a generative artificial intelligence created by OpenAI. It operates on a large language model capable of producing high-quality natural language interactions. It responds to natural language directions, also known as directed prompts, that users input into a dialogue box on the chatbot.
How does ChatGPT work?
The ChatGPT language model uses a neural network to understand and generate natural human language. The neural network, in a broad sense, mimics a human brain, requiring training for specific tasks. In this case, the model was exposed to a vast amount of internet data until late 2023. This enabled it to learn human language patterns and generate grammatically correct, human-like responses to the prompts it receives.
When did TapClicks add ChatGPT functionality?
In April 2023, TapClicks introduced a feature allowing the inclusion of an embedded ChatGPT widget. This integration brings a ChatGPT prompt input box into a TapClicks dashboard. To learn more about the ChatGPT widget, please see How to Use a ChatGPT Widget.
Additionally, in September 2023, TapClicks expanded this functionality to allow sending widget data to ChatGPT to create AI Executive Summaries, enhancing the ability to generate insights directly in TapClicks. For more information on AI Executive Summaries, please see How to Manage ChatGPT Created Summaries.
What ChatGPT Versions are available in TapClicks?
TapClicks supports ChatGPT versions 3.5, 4, 4 Turbo, and 4 Omni.
What can I do with ChatGPT in TapClicks?
The primary function of ChatGPT in TapClicks is to assist users in conducting meaningful analysis and creating in-depth summaries of their dashboard data. ChatGPT can be used in a variety of ways on the TapClicks platform:
- Add a ChatGPT widget to dashboards. This widget displays the ChatGPT interface and responds to user prompts in the same way as the ChatGPT website does.
- Send widget data to ChatGPT. ChatGPT will automatically generate a detailed summary for the user to add to the executive summary, which can be edited as desired.
- Manage and view summaries in the ChatGPT AI Assistance menu. This feature is accessible by Super Admin users only.
How does TapClicks work with ChatGPT?
TapClicks works with ChatGPT by connecting to the OpenAI API and embedding the ChatGPT chatbot into the TapClicks interface. Users can use their API key or one provided by TapClicks. After that, using the functionality is as simple as entering a prompt into the dialogue box and waiting for ChatGPT to respond.
What is a prompt?
A prompt refers to a set of instructions or guidance given to ChatGPT to generate a specific response. For example, users might instruct it to compose a brief blog post about recent marketing data. ChatGPT utilizes these prompts to understand the user's requirements and generates text based on its understanding of language. If the initial response doesn't fully meet the user's expectations, they can continue the conversation by offering additional prompts or requesting adjustments. For more information, please refer to How to Manage Your ChatGPT Prompt.
Is ChatGPT a recommendation engine?
While ChatGPT can make recommendations, it still has certain limitations. Namely, it lacks specific domain information, so it may not be aware of all topics. Users will find it helpful for broad suggestions, but it is always wise to verify for accuracy or consult domain experts for more reliable recommendations.
Is ChatGPT in TapClicks a replacement for human-curated analysis?
ChatGPT is not intended to replace human-curated analysis. Instead, it is a powerful tool designed to assist and enhance human efforts. It relies on the quality of its training data and the clarity of prompts given to produce accurate and helpful analysis. Users will discover that while ChatGPT can greatly support data analysis, it works best when combined with human expertise and oversight, ensuring a more reliable outcome.
How can I use ChatGPT in TapClicks?
ChatGPT in TapClicks is accessible in multiple ways within the TapClicks platform. Users have the option to add the ChatGPT chatbot directly to their dashboards using a dedicated widget. Additionally, users can send widget data to ChatGPT, aiding with data analysis and the creation of executive summaries. A menu within TapReports titled "ChatGPT AI Assistance'' is also available, allowing users to view and manage summaries generated with the assistance of ChatGPT.
Does OpenAI use TapClicks data for training?
All TapClicks ChatGPT connections use the OpenAI API and are not used for training per OpenAI's documents at OpenAI Platform. For more information on data privacy and security, you can visit Enterprise Privacy.
Can ChatGPT access TapClicks data?
As an AI language model, ChatGPT does not have direct access to data stored in TapClicks or any other specific data source. However, ChatGPT can analyze and provide insights on data that is provided to it in a format that it can process.
If you have access to data stored in TapClicks, you can extract the relevant data and format it into a structure suitable for analysis by ChatGPT, such as CSV, JSON, or through an API that ChatGPT can interact with to retrieve and analyze data.
Once you provide ChatGPT with this data, you can leverage it to generate insights and recommendations regarding various aspects of your marketing performance, including campaign effectiveness, customer behavior, and market trends. These insights can guide you in making informed decisions and optimizing your marketing strategy for maximum impact.
