What is Leads Management?
Leads management enables TapClicks customers to provide a light-CRM functionality to their clients, so that those clients may track their own leads in the TapAnalytics platform. For more information on using Leads Management, please refer to How to Use Leads Management.
What are Tags?
Leads tags are designed to allow users of Leads Management to categorize and qualify their leads. This is done by associating a tag with either the client field, lead number or the tracking source. You can create and use tags to add visual differentiation to a field. You'll do this from the Manage Leads section in the Leads menu.
Tags can also be used to group leads. A frequent use case for this is to associate a lead with a particular advertising channel like Display or Search and then group the leads from each in a dashboard widget.
How to Create a Lead Tag
Lead tagging is done on the Leads Management page (shown below) by clicking on the cell of a lead with the value for which you want to associate a tag.
Add an existing lead tag
1] Click on the client, lead number, or tracking source.
2] Click the existing tags or create a new tag. For a new tag, you can choose a color from the color palette to associate with the tag.
3] Select the listed tags from the dropdown list. For this example, the Social tag (color blue) has been selected and associated with the lead.

4] Start by clicking the respective field.
5] From the dropdown list, start typing the new tag. In the below example, we are creating a new tag called Display.
6] Press Enter to save the new tag.
7] You can assign a color to represent each tag visually by choosing a color from the palette. In the example below the color chosen is blue.
How to Delete a Lead Tag
8] Click the respective tag identified for deletion. Upon clicking the tag, an "X" icon will appear.
9] Click the "X" icon to delete the tag. Based on the example above, the screen will look as the screenshot below.
