What is Leads Management?
Leads Management allows TapClicks customers to provide light CRM functionality to their clients, enabling them to track their own leads directly in the TapAnalytics platform. For more information, please refer to How to Use Leads Management.
What are Lead Tags?
Lead tags help users of Leads Management categorize and qualify their leads. Tags can be associated with the client field, lead number, or tracking source. You can create and apply tags to visually differentiate specific fields. This is done from the Manage Leads section in the Leads menu.
Lead Tags can also be used to group leads. A common use case is associating leads with advertising channels like Display or Search, then grouping them in a dashboard widget.
How to Create a Lead Tag
To create a tag, go to the Leads Management page and click on the cell of a lead containing the value you want to tag.
Add an existing lead tag
1] Click the client name, lead number, or tracking source field.
2] Select an existing tag or begin creating a new one. For a new tag, you can choose a color from the color palette to associate with the tag.
3] Choose a tag from the dropdown list. In this example, the "Social" tag (blue) has been selected and applied to the lead.
Create a new lead tag
4] Click the field where you want to create a tag.
5] Begin typing the new tag into the dropdown list. In this example, we are creating a tag called "Display."
6] Press Enter to save the new tag.
7] Assign a color to visually represent the tag by choosing from the color palette. In the example below the color chosen is blue.
How to Delete a Lead Tag
8] Click the tag you want to delete. An X icon will appear.
9] Click the X icon to delete the tag. The tag will be removed from the field. Based on the example above, the screen will look as the screenshot below.
