Before you begin: Ask Your Dashboard lets you instantly query the data in any dashboard section and receive answers without leaving your workflow. This feature requires the SmartAnalytics or SmartSuite package. Access to Ask Your Dashboard is role-based, Super Admins have access by default, and other user roles can be granted access through permission settings managed by an account administrator.
Overview
Ask Your Dashboard allows you to ask questions about the data in a specific dashboard section and get answers immediately while reviewing it.
Instead of manually navigating filters or reviewing multiple widgets, you can enter a question and receive a response based on the data currently displayed in that section. The system analyzes the available data within the selected section and returns a structured answer with relevant metrics and context. This supports tasks such as comparing performance, identifying trends, and reviewing changes over time, without requiring additional manual steps.

Limitations
Keep the following in mind when using Ask Your Dashboard:
- Ask Your Dashboard only analyzes the data within the selected dashboard section. It cannot query data across multiple sections at once.
- Responses reflect the data as filtered by the dashboard's current date range and filters. Adjusting the dashboard date/filters will affect the answers you receive.
Troubleshooting
The Ask Your Dashboard tab is not visible.
Verify that your account has SmartAnalytics or SmartSuite enabled and that your user role has been granted access to AI Sparkle. If you believe your role should have access, contact your account administrator to review your permission settings.
The response does not reflect the data you expected.
Check that you are in the correct dashboard section and that the dashboard's date filter is set to the intended range. Try rephrasing your prompt to be more specific, for example, include the campaign name, metric, or time period you want to analyze.
