Before you begin: This article is written for users who are familiar with the Tapclicks Platform, specifically TapOrders & TapWorkflow. It provides an overview of pixels, focusing on how the Pixel Manager helps in creating, managing, and deploying conversion tracking pixels to monitor advertising effectiveness.
What is a Pixel?
A pixel, specifically referred to as a conversion pixel in digital marketing, is a tool used for tracking conversions that occur after a customer interacts with your ads. It works by embedding a small piece of code on your website, which activates when a customer completes an action you've defined as valuable, such as purchasing a product or downloading a PDF. This allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by recording these actions, known as conversions.
How Does the Pixel Library Enhance Conversion Tracking?
The Pixel Library is designed to centralize the creation and management of conversion pixels, simplifying tracking conversions like product purchases, newsletter sign-ups, business calls, or app downloads across different platforms. With the Pixel Library, you can efficiently link a conversion pixel to your campaign on platforms like TapOrders, enabling you to monitor and evaluate the campaign's impact by tracking the number of specific user actions during a defined period.

What to Do With Pixels After Creation
Once a pixel is successfully created, the user will receive an email with the snippet code that needs to be placed on the website or mobile app for tracking purposes. This code is crucial for enabling conversion tracking. It should be handed over to the webmaster, who will then place it on the appropriate section of the website and confirm its placement. With the code in place, you can start gathering valuable data on user interactions with your ads, helping you measure and optimize the effectiveness of your advertising campaigns.
How to Resend Snippet Code Email
1] On the Pixel Manager, scroll or use the search box to find the pixel that you want to resend the snippet code.
2] Once you have located the desired pixel, click the View/Edit icon on the right side of the page.
3] Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save. This action will re-save the pixel and resend the snippet code to the email address(es) specified in the textbox at the bottom.
