Before you begin: Once you've created an Order in TapClicks, you can break that Order up into Line Items, which are unique products your company offers. You can further break up each Line Item into smaller segments called Flights, which are a way of breaking up the Line Item based on time or milestones.
How to Add a Line Item to an Order
Add Line Items when the Order is comprised of two or more of your company's products. This document will show you how to do that.
1] Locate the Order in the Open Orders list and click on the number in the Order column. The Order page appears.
2] Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "+" to the right of Line Items.
3] The Add Line Item screen appears. Select a product from the Select a Product dropdown.
4] The detail page for the product you selected will appear. It will differ depending on which product you selected.
5] Fill in all the required fields (those indicated with an asterisk). This will almost always include Workflow details and Campaign details associated with this Line Item.
6] Optionally fill in any other fields.
7] Optionally add comments in the Comments field at the bottom of the page. Comments can be seen by anyone with access to that Line Item.
NOTE: Comments are required when you edit a Line Item, but not when you first create it. |
8] When you've entered all the Line Item details, click Save Line Items at the bottom of the page.
9] Repeat steps 2 - 8 for additional Line Items.
