Before you begin: Tasks are work items that must be completed to fulfill or manage a Client, Order,
Line Item, or Flight. When you are assigned a Task, you must manage it. Managing a Task includes starting it, reassigning it to someone else, adjusting its priority, changing its assigned Queue, updating its due date, and adding details.
How to Manage a Task
1] Navigate to the Task Details page for the Task you are managing. If you are unsure how to access it, please refer to How to Find and View Task Details.
How to start and complete a Task
2] To start the Task, click the checkmark icon in the Task Info section on the Task Details Page.
3] The checkmark icon will change to a checkbox icon.
4] To complete a Task that has been started, click the checkbox icon.
How to reassign a Task to someone else
5] To reassign a Task to another user, click the circling arrows icon.
6] The Reassign Task modal will appear.
7] Locate the user to whom you want to assign the Task by scrolling or using the search box.
8] Ensure the user is available by checking for a green checkmark in the Availability column.
9] Highlight their name and click Ok.
How to Change Task Priority
10] To increase the priority of a Task, click the up-arrow icon.
11] To decrease the priority of a Task, click the down-arrow icon.
How to Change the Queue a Task is Assigned to
12] Click the Change Queue icon.
13] The Assign Task to Queue modal will appear.
14] Select a new Queue from the dropdown menu.
15] Click Ok.
How to Change the Task due date
16] Click the calendar icon.
17] The Update Due Date modal will appear.
18] Click the calendar icon on the modal. The calendar will appear.
19] Select a new due date and click Update.
How to Add details to a Task
20] Scroll down to the Add Details section.
21] Enter Task details in the Add Comment textbox.
22] Click Save Details.
How to Take Bulk Actions on Tasks
If you have multiple Tasks assigned to you, you may want perform the same action on several of them at once. You do not need to perform that action on each Task individually—you can use bulk actions.
22] To perform bulk actions, click My Tasks in the left navigation menu under Workflow.
23] On the My Tasks page, locate the bulk actions menu in the upper right corner.
24] Go through your Task list and click the row for each Task you want to include in the bulk action. The selected rows will be highlighted.
25] Click the desired bulk action icon.
26] Complete any modals that appear.
