Before you begin: Tasks are work items that need to be completed to fulfill or manage a Client, Order,
Line Item, or Flight. When you're assigned a Task you will have to manage that Task. Managing a Task includes starting the Task, reassigning the Task to someone else, increasing/decreasing the Task priority, changing the Queue the Task is assigned to, changing the Task due date and adding details to the Task.
How to Manage a Task
1] Navigate to the Task Details page of the Task you want to manage. If you don't know how to do that, see How to Find and View Task Details.
How to start and complete a Task
2] To start the Task, on the Task Details page, click the check mark icon in the Task Info section.
3] The check mark icon becomes a checkbox icon.
4] To complete a Task that's been started, click the checkbox icon.
How to reassign a Task to someone else
5] To reassign a Task to someone else, click the circling arrows icon.
6] The Reassign Task modal appears.
7] Locate the user you want to assign the to by scrolling or using the search box.
8] When you locate the user, make sure they are available. You'll see a green check mark in the Availability column.
9] Highlight their name and click Ok.
How to Change Task Priority
10] To increase a Task's priority, click the up arrow icon.
11] To decrease a Task's priority, click the down arrow icon.
How to Change the Queue a Task is Assigned to
12] Click the change Queue icon.
13] The Assign Task to Queue modal appears.
14] Choose a new Queue from the dropdown menu.
15] Click Ok.
How to Change the Task due date
16] Click the calendar icon.
17] The Update Due Date modal appears.
18] Click the calendar icon on the modal. The calendar appears.
19] Choose a new due date and click Update.
How to Add details to a Task
20] Scroll down to the Add Details section.
21] Enter details in the Add comment textbox.
22] Click Save Details.
How to Take Bulk Actions on Tasks
If you have more than one Task assigned to you, you may want to take the same action on more than one of them. If you do, you don't have to take that action on each Task separately--you can use bulk actions.
22] To take bulk actions on Tasks assigned to you, on the left side menu under Workflow click My Tasks.
23] On the My Tasks page, in the upper right, you'll see the bulk actions menu.
24] Go through your list of Tasks and click in the row of every Task you want to perform a bulk action on. The row will highlight.
25] Click the bulk action icon you want to perform.
