Before you begin: Quick Reports can be used when you receive urgent requests from your clients. This feature provides a very basic summary of the Data Sources assigned to the client. Simply log in, enter minimal details, and generate a Quick Report in under a minute.
How to Create a Quick Report
1] Log in to TapClicks and, on the Reports menu, click Quick Report.
2] The Quick Report screen appears.
3] From the left-side menu, select a client from the first dropdown or a client group from the second dropdown. This determines the entity for which you want to generate a Quick Report.
4] To define a date range for the report, either choose a predefined date range in the dropdown menu or leave it set to Custom to choose a custom date range.
5] For a custom date range, specify the start and end dates by clicking inside the Start date and End date boxes and choosing the specific date from the pop-up calendar that appears.
6] Check the Compare to box if you want to compare the data in the specified date range to data in a prior period. If you check the box, repeat steps 4 and 5 to define the prior date range.
7] Select a report cover and back page theme from the Default Cover/Back Page dropdown menu. These are custom-branded pages that you can create and upload in the Report Covers section of Reports. The report cover and back page are added as the first and last pages of the report. If you do not have any options, the default cover/back page will be used.
8] Select data profile from the Select a data profile dropdown if you have created one and wish to use it.
9] Check the Include Charts if Available box to add charts to the Quick Report (if applicable).
10] Check the Include Monthly Summary checkbox to include it in the Quick Report (if applicable).
11] Select the report content from the Data Sources dropdown. You have a choice between 1) data sources only; 2) data sources and channels combined; or 3) channels only.
12] Click Generate Report. Your Quick Report will appear in the right pane.
How to Share a Quick Report
13] Click the Share icon in the lower-right corner of the page.
14] The export options will appear. Here you have the option to email the report or save it as a file, either Excel, Word, or PDF.
15] To email the report, click the Email icon.
16] The Email report window will appear.
17] Enter the recipient's email address and a message, if needed.
18] Click Send. The Quick Report will be sent as a PDF attachment.
