Overview
TapOrders Notifications help users stay informed about key activities related to their media orders, including status changes, assignments, and comments. With real-time alerts and customizable settings, this feature improves visibility and collaboration across teams managing campaign workflows in TapOrders.
Email Notifications
TapOrders automatically sends email notifications when specific order-related actions occur. These alerts help ensure users stay updated and can respond quickly.
Email notifications are triggered for:
- New order assignment
- Order status updates
- Comments added to an order
- Order approval or rejection
- File attachments uploaded
- Upcoming due dates (optional)

Notification Preferences
Users can manage their own notification preferences within TapOrders to ensure they only receive relevant updates.
Available settings include:
- Choosing which actions trigger notifications
- Selecting between real-time alerts or daily summary emails
- Adding team members as CC recipients
Administrators can also configure default settings by role or user group.
In-App Notification Center
Users can also access real-time alerts via the Notification Center by clicking the bell icon in the top-right corner of the platform.
Notification Center features include:
- Read/unread indicators
- Filters by order, project, or campaign
- Direct links to associated orders
@ Mentions
TapOrders supports @mentions in order-level comments, making it easier to tag teammates and prompt timely responses.
Example:
@JohnSmith Please review the updated budget before submission.
Users who are mentioned will receive both an in-app alert and an email notification.

How to Configure Notification Settings
1] On the classic TapOrders left navigation menu, under Administration, click Roles.
2] Click the Add Role (plus sign) icon to configure a new role or click the Edit Role (pencil) icon to change an existing role.
3] Define default notification triggers for the role or user group.
4] When finished, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
