One User Per Sheet
To maintain the integrity of the sheet, only one user—the sheet owner—should make changes to the formulas. If a collaborator without the required add-on installed attempts to modify the formulas, it can disrupt the sheet’s functionality and cause errors.
If you need collaborators to edit formulas, ensure all collaborators have the add-on installed to prevent issues.
Don’t Position Queries on Top of Each Other
When using queries in Google Sheets, data is populated below the formula and extends downward to the number of rows specified in the row limit. Any existing content beneath the query will be overwritten when the data populates.
To avoid overwriting or data loss:
- Use a separate sheet for each query, or
- Place queries in separate columns with no data below them.
