Instant On Connectors
Facebook Ads/Facebook Insights - upgraded API to v11
We have updated the API version on both these connectors to v11. This upgrade ensures we are on the latest and greatest and that users' data continues to follow as expected.
Facebook Ads - added dedicated story preview field
We have separated the various previews into their own dedicated fields. Users will now be able to distinguish between preview types easily in their reports and build visualizations to clearly report to their end clients.
TikTok Ads - new connector
We have added a new instant-on connector for TikTok Ads. This new connector is by request only.
Campaign Manager - added data view
We have built a new data view that combines Campaign, Placement, Ad and Creative information for a more flat data set. This enables users a more flexible data set to build visualizations and reports around for their end clients as the combination of all these data point allows for many more ways to group and filter data.
Shopify - added as live connector (now called On Demand Connector)
We added Shopify to our list of connectors that support Live Call widgets. Live Call widgets enable users to present data directly from a data source in their TapClicks Dashboard.
Smart Connectors
Gamut - new template added
We added Gamut to our collection of Smart Connector templates.
QM Reports & AdLib - new logo
We updated the logo on the Smart Connector templates of QM Reports and AdLib.
TapClicks for Google Sheets
Added relative date range options
We have added the following relative date range options to the add-on:
- Past Year
- This Quarter
- Last Quarter
Public release of Insert Formula and Schedule Refresh
We have added the Insert Formula function and Schedule Refresh features. Users can now insert a formula instead of just printing the data on-screen. Users can also schedule their formulas to refresh on a specified cadence.
Moved save queries selector to top of page
We moved the Saved Query recall selector to the top of the query page. Users can now more easily access their saved queries instead of scrolling down to the bottom of the side bar.
Moved Schedule tab to the left nav
We moved the Schedule settings to their own dedicated menu in the side nav. This should result in less confusion for users when trying to find/create/edit their Schedule refreshes.
Show query progress and Stop button
We added a “Query in Progress” pop-up menu with the ability to stop the query. Users will now get a visual indicator when their query action is running, as well as the ability to stop the query.
TapOrders
Created date available as calculation option
Created date is now available as a calculation option on Client, Order, Line Item and Flight forms. Users will now be able to use a calculated field that measures the time since the item’s created date and use that in workflow rules and display it on forms.
Please reference the value “$created” in formulas to reference the created date of an entity. For example: to calculate the number of days between the created date and the start date of a line item, use
*$this->calc->getPeriodInDays($created,\{3})* – where \{3} is the field id of the start_date field.
Import/export support for tiered lookups and packages
In previous releases, tiered lookups and packages were unable to be imported via a CSV file. As part of completing the promote-to-production work and to improve the scalability and usability of TapOrders, we now support exporting and importing tiered lookups from the user interface. We included tiered lookups, along with standard lookup types, in both the export and import of lookup types.
To best manage the common scenario where a tiered lookup (i.e., rate card) is being updated on an annual basis, the tiered lookup import will replace the existing tiered structure in its entirety when the import is done. Please ensure all required tiers are present in the import file to make sure no data is lost.
Note that if a tiered lookup of the same name exists on the target instance, then this tiered lookup will be replaced with the new one from the CSV file. This includes deleting all of the tier content values and replacing them with those from the CSV file.
Exporting/importing of calculated product and form fields' formulas have also been enhanced to support imported tiered lookups. Specifically, if the $this->calc->getTierValue(<tier_type_id>,<input_value or {input_field_id}>) function is used inside a field’s formula, the tier_type_id will be exported by name and then converted back to the internal id on the target instance when importing. This will require that the tiered lookup name exist on the new system before the form is imported.
Reports
Added icon to open dashboard
Users can now open a dashboard in a new tab by clicking the Open in New Tab icon in the dashboard preview image.
Added new badges
We added new badges for Communicating Upsell, Voting and Coming Soon. Theses badges help users see which features are available. They also allow TapClicks to gate them behind upsells, as well as allow users to vote on feature enhancements they’re interested in. These votes help TapClicks prioritize feature releases.
New recurring goals capability
Users can now save time every month by setting up recurring goals. This helps them avoid having to manually create individual goals for users' clients.
New send report now capability
This new capability enables users to immediately send a scheduled report to ALL of the recipients in the scheduled report.
New report preview capability
This new capability enables users to send out a scheduled report to a select group of emails, to preview the results, before saving the scheduled report.
