TapClicks Platform
Added roles to left side navigation
We have added Roles to the left side navigation menu which will make it easier for admin users to access and manage user roles in TapReports and TapAnalytics.
TapReports
Text update for platform settings (start & end of week)
Platform settings for week starts (either Sunday or Monday) will now be applied across the platform. When the Report Studio widget is set to Weekly, data aggregated is set across the platform, including the pop-up calendar, dashboard, Report Studio and all scheduled reports. This enhancement provides standardization across the platform for the aggregated data.
Instant On Connectors
CallRail - field added
We have added the field Campaign to the Call Details data view. This will enable users to break the data down by Campaign, in addition to the already available fields for more informative client reporting.
Basis BCI Reports - new connector added
We have built out a new direct connection for Basis BCI Reports. This new connector will enable all users, who are also leveraging the BCI Reports from Basis, to simplify the process of getting this data into their client reports. You can view all fields and data views for a given data source here.
GroundTruth - field added
We have added the field Business Name to the Products data view. This will enable users an additional breakdown when looking to visualize this data set within TapClicks.
Birdeye - fields added
We have exposed a new data view for Listing Metrics which includes the following fields:
- Google Map Views
- Google Search Views
- Clicks To Website
- Get Direction Clicks
- Phone Call Clicks
- Direct Queries
- Discovery Queries
- Branded Queries
- Facebook Impressions
- Bing Searches
- Live Listings
- Entities
This new data view enables users to incorporate overall listing performance metrics into their dashboard with day over day trends similar to what you find in the BirdEye reporting interface.
Snapchat Ads - metric added
We have added the metric Native Leads to the Campaigns, Ad Squads and Ads data views. This enables users to include this metric in their client reports within their various data visualizations.
Pinterest Ads - enhancement
We have added the ability to pull in the Campaign type of Catalog Sales through for reporting. This will enable users leveraging Pinterest Ads for Shopping Campaigns to report on them via the already existing connection with all the other Pinterest data. This creates a more complete data story for their end users.
Google Analytics 4 - data views added
We have added four additional data views and modified the existing Events data view in order to provide our users a more robust data set for their reporting. Users are now able to build out reports for their Google Analytics 4 Profiles in a more expedient manner due to the availability of these new data views and additional fields. These data sets will also cover the more out-of-the-box use cases for all TapClicks users as they start their transition to Google Analytics 4 from Universal Analytics.
StackAdapt - view added with geo data
We have built a new data view to pull in Geo data. Users are now able to build out reports for their end clients utilizing this previously unavailable data set.
StackAdapt - view added with device data
We have built a new data view to pull in Device data. Users are now able to build out reports for their end clients utilizing this previously unavailable data set.
CallCap - new field exposed
We have exposed a new field for “Minor”, which represents the minor call rating set in the CallCap platform. This field can be found in the Call Details data view. If users want to provide additional information to stakeholders about the types of calls, they can now expose these minor values in their dashboards.
Google Analytics Multi-Channel Funnel - suffix added to Live Calls (now called On Demand Connectors)
For users who use On Demand Connectors in their dashboards, the Google Analytics Multi-Channel Funnel fields have been updated to include a suffix on the label for “MCF”. Example: “Assisted Value [MCF]”, instead of just “Assisted Value”.
It wasn’t clear when building visualizations if the fields from Google Analytics were Multi-Channel Funnel fields or not, which lead to a high frequency of error messages when building widgets. This is because users can’t combine Multi-Channel Funnel fields with certain other dimensions and metrics from Google Analytics. By adding this suffix to the label names, users are better informed if fields can be used together, before saving the widget, to see if the combination is valid.
Google Ads - fields added for Live Calls (now called On Demand Connectors)
For users who use On Demand Connectors in their dashboards, there are new fields for Campaign Labels from the Google Ads data source. If users need to report on this data in their On Demand widgets, they can now do so.
LinkedIn Ads - added API versioning support
We have updated the LinkedIn Ads API fetch logic to respect rate limit updates from the provider. There should be no data interruption.
LinkedIn Ads - new fields exposed
We have exposed three new fields on the Campaigns data view within LinkedIn Ads. The fields are as follows:
- Account Name
- Campaign Group ID
- Campaign Group Name
The addition of these three fields enables users to slice and dice their data in new ways to create data visualizations and stories for their end clients.
Smart Connectors
Display warning on missing "order by" from SQL queries
For those using the SQL delivery type for Smart Connector, we have added an on-screen warning if an “order by” parameter is missing from the query. When it comes to large data sets and queries that result in pagination, designating an “order by” ensures the data is processed in an accurate manner. While this is not a required parameter, and the Smart Connector will still process data without it, in an effort to encourage best practices, the message is displayed to the user.
Google Sheets
Added Live Calls (now called On Demand Connector) via TapAPI
We have added Live Calls (now called On Demand Connector) via TapAPI which means users can now access their near real-time data in Google Sheets.
Upgraded to OAuth login
Users can now only login via OAuth + Google OAuth support. This make the sidebar more secure while also allowing the user to “Sign in with Google”.
