Instant On Connectors
Google My Business - moved off deprecated API methods
We have updated the Google My Business API methods so we’re not leveraging deprecated methods. We anticipate no data interruption to our customers.
Twitter Ads - updated field
We have updated the preview field for Tweets within the Posts data view to accommodate the maximum characters allowed. Now users will be able to visualize their entire tweets, within their reporting, to their end clients.
Smart Connectors
Query preview for database delivery types
Query-based connectors now have a window to see a sample of their data, as well as a copy link to test the query in the source. Users can now more easily troubleshoot basic query issues.
Added warning for imported system calculated fields
Calculated fields imported via TapAccess (i.e., data-sharing) are now flagged with a warning message. Imported calculated fields may sometimes be inaccurate. This message warns the user to check these fields and potentially recreate the calculation in their instance.
New delivery types for Amazon Aurora MySQL and PostgreSQL
There are now new connector options for Amazon Aurora. If customers are searching specifically for this delivery type, they can now connect directly instead of through My SQL or PostgreSQL.
New Marketplace template for Logiq
We have added a new Smart Connector template for Logiq.
TapOrders
Webhook output includes two new fields
For customers using the TapOrders webhook Publish, the output now contains two new fields for {{salesperson_first_name}} and {{salesperson_last_name}}. If users need salesperson name information to be in separate fields for their use case, they can now find this information in their webhook outputs.
Improved copy-paste in forms
We know that users frequently cut and paste from different systems into the Orders, Line Items and Flights forms and preserving the formatting is important for accurate execution of the orders. In reponse, we have updated the way the copy and paste feature works in comments and text areas. These text areas respond better now to data that are copied and pasted.
Locations where copy-paste has been improved include the following:
-
Textarea on add/edit entity form. For example, textarea on edit Line Item form.
-
Sidebar quick comment section for Client, Order, Line Item, Flight, and Tasks.
-
Add comment section at the bottom of add/edit entity form. For example, add comment at the bottom of edit Line Item.
TapAnalytics
Data Load Status tab update
We have renamed the Data Load Status tab so it’s more clear. We have added on-screen content about what is on that tab and updated the “Guide Me” copy as well. This should result in less user confusion.
TapClicks
Added Sheets access at the user level
Sheets access can now be enabled/limited at the user level. There may be reasons why some users wouldn’t want other users to have access to external products like Sheets. This enables users to limit access for those users specifically.
Reports
Added Smart Campaign Filter to Report Studio
We released a new feature which adds the smart campaign filter to the Report Studio page. This feature enables users to filter any report based on a smart campaign in the Report Studio. Users are currently able to filter via a smart campaign in the Dashboard, but since Report Studio is being used for editing, exporting and emailing the report, this enhancement allows users to filter any report based on a smart campaign in the Report Studio.
Add Smart Campaign Filter to Scheduled Reports
We released a new feature which adds the smart campaign filter to the Report Scheduler page. This feature enables users to filter and send any report based on a smart campaign. Users are currently able to filter via a smart campaign in the Dashboard, but since the report scheduler is being used for scheduling the send reports via emailing the report, this enhancement allows users to filter any report based on a smart campaign.
Added big number widget style options
We have made a broad styling update for the TapClicks big number widget. The big number widget now has several new styling options including shape and plot type. Click here for more info. Click here to watch a video on how to configure the widgets.
Red/green arrows direction behavior override
We have added the option to control the color of the direction of arrows on widgets. The default is to have up displayed green and down red. Some specific data sources and metrics have this automatically reversed. Users can now override this for specific metrics on a widget. Using the metric definition in the settings area, the user can set the direction considered "good" for that metric.
