TapClicks Platform
Updated icons and links
We have made a series of usability updates to make the platform easier to use. We have updated most buttons, links and icons to enable opening in a new tab via right click.
TapReports
Improved geographic maps in widgets
We have improved the geographic map technology, including support for zip codes and other boundaries. This work is being done as a customer engagement and will eventually be a standard offering/solution. New map layers such as DMAs, congressional districts and zip codes will soon be introduced. Having the ability to display the metric-based geo data on the maps will enable users to visualize the data over multiple geographical layers and drill down to specific lat/lon.
This feature is not automatically enabled in TapReports. If you're interested in using this feature, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
More grid styling options
To provide a better user experience, we now provide more options to customize widgets. These new options include the following:
- Styling the header of media widgets using a rich text editor and having that title applied to the grids including font size, weight and color.
- Grid theme styling, the introduction of grid lines.
- .Updated plot types: both Classic and Default
These additions improve data visualization for users, which give then more control of the styling mechanism to visualize data in their own desired way.
TapOrders
Option to manage submit user
We have added the option to manage Submit user in bulk using the Bulk Actions options. To bulk update the submit users for a set of orders, select the user to assign and enter the Order ID numbers to change and click Execute. This will run a process to update the submit users for the specified orders. Any existing tasks currently assigned to the submit user would need to be moved separately, but any future tasks auto assigned to the submit user will use the new value.
Enabled notifications for watchers
We have added a new Preferences setting under the Orders & Workfow tab to control whether watchers are automatically added when they edit an entity. If this is set to No, then editing an entity will not automatically add a user to the watcher list and include them in notifications based on their role.
Added Quick Filter to client table
We have added the TapOrders Quick Table to the client table.
Instant On Connectors
Semrush Domains - upgraded API to OAuth
We have released an update to the way users authenticate to the Semrush API which leverages a TapClicks token, instead of your company’s token when, using Semrush API Units. If your organization has struggled with Semrush API Unit Limits in the past, migrating your connection to the TapClicks token will relieve you of those API Unit Limits and paying for more quota when you hit your limit.
If you are already connected to the Semrush Domains data source and do not take any action, your data will still continue to flow against your company token and be subject to your token’s API Unit limits.
If you would like to update your SEMRush Domain connection, follow these instructions.
If you have any questions or concerns with this process, please reach out to customercare@tapclicks.com.
Google Ads - added new data view
We have exposed a new data view for Google Ads that presents data for “Where Ads Showed” from the Google Ads user interface. This data view will enable customers to see ad placement performance within the TapClicks dashboard.

Added tool tips
Customers may need details about how a specific field is handled either on the TapClicks side or the data source side. If a customer has a question, they typically comb the knowledge base or submit a support ticket for assistance.
To address this, we are starting to slowly incorporate on-screen tool tips to help explain certain metrics. These tool tips will initially be available for fields that are either TapClicks-handled fields (i.e., fields that start with “Avg. Daily…”) or fields from data sources that have historically been associated with customer questions. These tool tips use question mark icons and will be available only to Super Admins and BU Admins initially. These question marks will not be present in any exports, only in on-screen grid widget visualizations.
If you have any feedback about this feature, or if you feel that a field in the dashboard could benefit from a dedicated tool tip, feel free to submit it to the product team through the Product Feedback Portal or reach out to your Customer Success Manager or customercare@tapclicks.com.

Smart Connectors
Toggle Map to Single Client on/off after setup
We added the option to toggle on/off the “Map to Single Client” option when there is no data loaded in the system. Users can now switch their selection instead of having to create a whole new Smart Connector.
Added ID field type
We added a field type called ID. Users can now select this new field type instead of Text for non-metric numeric fields.
Google Sheets
Google login beta
Users can now only login via Oauth + Google Oauth support. This make the sidebar move secure while also allowing the user to sign in with Google.
Added Group by fields to column(s) section
Group by fields are now automatically added to the column(s) section. Previously, Group by fields were not able to sorted or filtered. With this change, all functions are now available for group by fields.
Added warning/error for storage limit
Users are now alerted when they hit their Google storage limit. Saved Queries and Query Logs are stored to the Google account. When that storage hits its limit, those queries and logs are no longer saves. This feature alerts users that they’ve hit their limit and they need to delete some saved queries or logs in order to free up space.
Refreshed alerts
Users will now get an alert if their query does not refresh. Sometimes queries fail to run for a variety of reasons. This will alert the TapClicks user that their query did not complete successfully and to check on the Sheet.
