TapReports
New grid styling options
To provide a better user experience by giving more opportunities to customize widgets, we have added four new options to enhance data visualization.
- Color banding - different colors on alternating rows make it easier to interpret printed reports.
- Wrap text - keeps information from overflowing a cell making it easier to read.
- Grouped column plot - a new grid/table layout which enables grouping of related metrics.
- Heat map plot - a new grid/table layout which allows users to choose a cell's background color.
See this article to view examples of each of these new data visualization options.
TapClicks Platform
Added quick filter
We have added a quick filter capability to the TapOrders client table. User of the new TapClicks experience can now quickly filter clients by their TapOrders status.
Instant On Connectors
Instant On Connectors - added "can't find your field?"
When building widgets in your dashboard, you may want to know which fields are available on different data views for native connectors. We have has exposed a URL link in the widget builder screen below the Data View selection drop down (image below). This link will take you to the website where you can review the available fields and data views for this specific data source.
Instead of having to open a new tab and navigate to the website or to your data profiles to see what data is available, you now have a direct link to the page with the info you may be looking for.
NOTE: This link will not appear for any Smart Connectors, Channels, or Custom Connectors.
If you see any opportunities for improvement, we want to hear from you. Drop your feedback into the Product Portal.
New connector - NextGen TAP (Triton Advertising Platform)
We have added a new connector for NextGen TAP (Triton Advertising Platform). Users who have been using the legacy Triton Advertising Platform (TAP) may have started migrations to the new NextGen TAP platform from Triton. This new connector will make data from the Triton Digital Booking API available in the TapClicks dashboard for reporting purposes.
If you’re looking for data from the TAP Explore product instead, feel free to submit a Product Portal request through your dashboard. Be sure to include the types of TAP Explore queries you’re looking to report on.
Google Analytics 4 - updated admin methods
We have updated our Google Analytics 4 API methods from Alpha to Beta. Now the Beta methods are available. As new features from the Admin API become available, they will be exposed under the new Beta umbrella and we can leverage them faster.
New connector - Google Local Services Ads
We have built a new native connector for Google Local Services. Users will now be able to report on the leads that have been generated from their Local Service Ads.
Google Ads - added data view
There is a new data view available from Google Ads with data for conversion action by user location. This data view enables users to present the Country/Territory (i.e., user location) group along with conversion KPIs. Users who are struggling with TapClicks data views after the Google Ads migration, may find that this new data view better meets their reporting needs.
If you’re still not seeing the data from Google Ads in a format that meets your needs, feel free to submit a Product Portal request through your dashboard. Be sure to include the specific Google Ads reporting columns and rows that you use in that platform directly.
Google Ads - added data view
We have added a new data view on Google Ads for campaign audience performance. This is another way for users to aggregate their Google Ads audience performance to accommodate reporting needs. We found that some users have challenges with the existing Ad Group audience performance data view. This is due to the fact that the granularity of Ad Group wasn’t what some users needed for reporting. This new data view provides options for how users can tell their data story against Google's evolving reporting options.
Google Ads - added data view
We have added a data view for Ad Group Conversions with Action ID. Users are now able to report on their conversions, broken down by ad groups and action IDs.
Google Ads - new data view available
There is a new data view available called Metro & City (User location) Performance, which provides data by both the Metro (user location) and City (user location) fields from Google Ads. Standard performance metrics are available on this new data view as well.
Users, who may be struggling with the TapClicks data views that were available before the Google Ads API migration, have this option available for reporting as well. Depending on how your team is conveying KPIs to stakeholders, this new data view may offer your team more reporting options.
If you’re still not seeing the data from Google Ads in a format that meets your needs, feel free to submit a Product Portal request through your dashboard. Be sure to include the specific Google Ads reporting columns and rows that you use in that platform directly.
Basis Technologies - added data view
Based on what is available from the Centro Basis Technologies API, we have exposed a new data view for conversions performance. This will enable users to report on both conversions and revenue in their dashboard. The API makes the following metrics available:

Mailchimp - added missing campaign attributes
We have exposed a number of additional attribute fields for Mailchimp campaigns. These new fields offer additional ways to group and filter Mailchimp data.
ReachSearch - deprecated feed
We have halted API queries to the legacy ReachSearch API. We will no longer be making unnecessary calls to the data source, but we will continue to maintain history for this feed for those users that needed the historical data. For current data, please review to the LocaliQ data source.
Instagram Professional - added fields
We have added the following fields to the Media data view for reporting on Reels:
- comments
- likes
- plays
- reach
- saved
- shares
- total_interactions
Users will now be able to report on the performance of the reels they run for their end clients, along with their other media types. This will allow for a more holistic reporting experience for the end clients and ease of use for TapClicks users when building out reports.
Microsoft Ads - added field
We have added the field Keyword ID to the Goals and Keyword data views. This gives users an additional way to group data for reporting to their end clients.
LinkedIn Ads - updated API
We have updated the API fetch logic to respect rate limit updates from the provider. This ensures there are no data interruptions.
LinkedIn Ads - exposed Ad Previews
For users who are leveraging LinkedIn Ads through TapClicks Live Call (now called On Demand) widgets, you can now expose Ad Previews in those widgets. This is an additional reporting option for you and your team. You can show the ad preview right next to the performance metrics that were derived from this specific creative.
If you would like to learn more about On Demand Widgets, please see this article for frequently asked questions.
StackAdapt - renamed data view
We have changed the name of the Native Ads data view to Creatives. We did this to maintain consistency with the labels in the StackAdapt UI.
StackAdapt - inherited data views
A number of child data views now inherit fields from their parent data views. Users who need more flexibility in how they filter their widget visualizations will no longer be able to do so. If you need some additional flexibility, we encourage you to reach out to your Customer Success Manager or submit a request through the feedback portal.
CallCap - exposed new field
We have exposed a new field in the CallCap data source for Minor, which represents the minor call rating set in the CallCap platform. This field can be found on the Call Details data view. If you want to provide additional information to stakeholders about the types of calls, you can now expose these minor values in your dashboards.
Twitter Ads - API upgrade
We have upgraded the API version for Twitter Ads to v11 for Live Call Widgets. This will ensure no data interruption.

Users of the Yelp API service can now assign Yelp businesses that have no reviews associated with them. Now, users can connect businesses with no reviews, so they can report on those records in their dashboard.
MediaMath - updated authentication
We have update the MediaMath authentication flow based on requirements from the provider. This should ensure no data interruption. There is no action required from the user.
Multiple Instant On Connectors - added manage on Data Source link
We exposed a link for a number of data sources called "View in [Data Source]"that allows users to quickly access data in a source system. The currently supported data sources are as follows:
