Updated Favorites to v2
We’re pleased to announce the availability of our next iteration on the Favorites feature. In our legacy user experience, the administrator was able to set the dashboard list that would appear in the left navigation/favorites through the data profile. This provided some control over the experience and automated the creation of favorites. We are pleased to bring this feature back and expand it to support Report Studio as well.
There are two new fields on the data profile, in the Access tab, which control the items that are automatically loaded to the Favorites bar: Dashboard Favorites and Report Studio Favorites.
Dashboards and Report Studios that are not pre-filtered to clients or client groups, and who are assigned to the same business unit as the data profile (or no business unit), are available to be added to these lists.
Users who are assigned those data profiles will automatically have their Favorites pre-loaded when they login. Additionally, in the roles system, there is a new setting for Dashboards and Report Studio to control whether the user assigned to that role can add their own favorites. This provides an additional level of control should customers want to limit the favorites list to only those prescribed by the administrator.
TapOrders
Goals & pacing now allow the re-push of goals from TapOrders
This enhancement enables users that are using a push to goals from TapOrders to re-push a goal that needs updating, right from the TapOrders task.
TapAnalytics
Added new goals sorting functionality
The new goals sorting functionality helps users sort by goal name on the goals home page. There are three sort options:
- Alphabetical (A-Z)
- Reverse alphabetical (Z-A)
- Default: goals are displayed according to their creation date
This new feature enhances the overall goals user experience by giving users the flexibility to view goals in their preferred sort option. The sorting option is available on the goals home page adjacent to the advanced filter option.
Projected Value now available for budget and pacing goals in dashboard widgets
This feature enables the goals module user to view the Projected Value field in the goals data view. This occurs when selecting the data category as Goals in the Dashboards section. For a budget goal, the Projected Spend is a currency value and for a pacing goal the Projected Value is an integer value.
The Projected Value is the forecasted value for a campaign based on the current performance, the days left and the expected performance. This metric informs users on the expected performance of their campaign based on current pacing so that they can make tweaks in their campaign strategy accordingly. This metric can be viewed in the Goals widget in the Dashboards section when setting the Data category = Goals.

Data grid widgets can now wrap long strings that don't have blank spaces
Users can now view their metric column values without the column widths being distorted. The metric values can now be named by users in any format (with spaces or without).
Added flexible metric spacing
We have introduced a toggle button, Metric Spacing, which enables users to change the space between metrics in the big number data widget. Users are now more in control of the display and representation of the Big Number widget.
Big Number widget now shows zero when there is no data
Users don't want to see a long message when there is a zero or empty data set value. We've replaced the message (see image below) with the following outputs:
- Zero value data: If the widget has data, but the value is zero, then the result will be displayed as zero instead of the message.
- Null data: If the widget has no data, the result will be displayed as a hyphen instead of the message.
Users are now able to examine reports without any lengthy notifications thanks to this feature, which also introduces a distinction between empty and zero data values.
TapData
Data Exporter now generates a sample table during an export build
Users configuring the Data Exporter don't always know the exact metric names. Either they are building an export on the spot and choosing metrics from memory, or the customer may want to review the output to make sure they aren't missing anything before saving the exporter.
With this enhancement, we have exposed a Preview button (see image below) when building a new Data Exporter which enables the user to expose the first 25 rows of a Data Exporter (to CSV) for review.
Added option to run Data Exporter when fetch/sync is complete
Data Exporters run at a regular time every day. However, some users may want to have their Data Exporters run when their regular data fetches are complete so that the most up-to-date data are included in those exports.
To give users that option, we’ve added an option to Data Exporter scheduling for exporters to run automatically when the fetches are complete (see the image below). This means that the Data Exporters may run a little later in the day, but the data will be updated with what is in the dashboard and database.
Note: these exports are not driven off of any update dashboard intraday data fetches, only for the regular fetches for your dashboard as a whole (including non-standard schedules).
Instant On Connectors
Google Ads - added new data view
We have added a new data view, Display/Video Keywords, to let users view video performance-related metrics.
Video-related metrics were previously available in the Display Keywords data view. However, due to a change in the API related to click type, these metrics were no longer valid. As a result, we have adjusted this view to Display Keywords with Click Type and created a new data view labeled Display/Video Keywords which shows all available video-related metrics. To take advantage of this new data view, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or customercare@tapclicks.com.
Google Analytics 4 - added data views
We have added four additional data views and modified the existing Events data view in order to provide our users with a more robust data set for their reporting within Google Analytics 4.
Users are now able to build out reports for their Google Analytics 4 profiles more quickly due to the availability of these new data views and additional fields. These data sets will also cover the more out-of-the-box use cases for all TapClicks users as they start the transition to Google Analytics 4 from Universal Analytics.
Basis BCI Reports - exposed data field for multiple data views
We have exposed Net Spend on all data views that are DSP based. This enables users to report better on spend on the various data aggregation levels. The data views include the following:
- DSP Zip Code Details
- DSP DMA Details
- DSP Device Model
- DSP Device Type
- DSP Device OS
- DSP Placement Details
- DSP 3rd Party Audiences
- DSP My Audiences
- DSP Contextual Entries
- DSP Exchange Details
- DSP Domain Details
- DSP Conversion Details
Marchex - added a new data field
We have added a data field labeled Call Recording URL. Users of this connector now have the option to view a white-labeled call recording URL, in addition to listening to the call.
WhatConverts - added a new field
We have added the field MSCLKID to the Leads data view. This now enables users to report on the MSCLKID field to their end clients in a scalable manner.
WhatConverts - added fields
We have added the ability to pull custom fields into our Leads data view. This enables users to get the various fields that have been configured for the lead forms.
LocaliQ - field updated to display local time
The data field labeled Event Time now displays the advertiser’s time zone. Previously, all time stamps for events were reported in UTC. Now the time stamp will report the advertiser’s local time zone.
Google Analytics 4 - updated alpha admin methods to beta methods
We have updated our Google Analytics 4 API methods from alpha to beta, now that the beta methods are available. As new features from the admin API become available, they will be exposed under the beta umbrella and we can leverage them faster.
Data Load Status tables now exportable to CSV
The Data Load Status page is accessible to admin users, but in some cases, an admin may want to share some of these notifications with others in the organization who own a subset of these connections. To accommodate this, we have enabled a way to export the table data into CSV format that can then be manipulated and distributed to team members for reference. This is especially helpful for organizations with many connections where the grid format may not be as user-friendly.
SEMRush - authentication change to full OAuth
We have fully shifted the SEMRush Domains connector to a standard OAuth flow. This makes the process of connecting new SEMRush accounts much easier for users.
Pinterest - upgraded API from v3 to v5
We have upgraded our three Pinterest connectors to the v5 API in order to stay on the most current API version. This upgrade will ensure all data continue to flow moving forward.
Facebook Ads - upgraded API to v15
Based on an announcement by Facebook, we have upgraded the Facebook Ads API to v15. Being on the most current version of the API minimizes data interruption. Additionally, now that the API is up to date, we are ready to start building new data views for this data source.
Salesforce - upgraded API
We have moved to the latest API version for all Salesforce connectors to ensure we maintain data access for all users.

Templates added/updated
New templates added:
- OnSpot
- WeHaa
- Agentz Performance
- Agentz Contants
Updates to existing templates:
- Adelphic
Removed/rearranged additional features
We have removed the following additional features:
- Assign SC to a Single Client
- Use the tab name as an Assignment Field? ( NOTE: if the “ALL Tabs” or “Tabs matching a specific Pattern” options are selected for either Tab Parsing or Google Sheets config, it is made an option in the Assignment Field dropdown.)
We have moved the following additional features to the Assignment field section:
- Advanced Assignment
- Use for Quick Mapping
We have renamed the Additional Features section to Advanced Setup Options and made it expandable/collapsible. These changes make the Smart Connector config. screen easier to use by removing unnecessary features and placing others in locations where users will naturally look for them.
Improved error message
We have changed the error message for folders that don't contain supported files within the last six months to reduce confusion. On initial load, if a user connects to the folder that contains files older than six months or unsupported files, they will no longer get a message saying that the folder is empty. Instead, they will get a message saying that there are no supported files within the last six months.
