Data Features
Filled permission gaps on Redshift Data Exporter
For users of the Amazon Redshift destination for Data Exporter, we have identified which permissions are required on your Amazon Redshift user to ensure that your tables are updated as expected. This feature has been put into an on-screen warning message displayed prior to creating the Data Exporter:
User credentials must have CREATE/DROP TABLE, ALTER TABLE, and INSERT/DELETE/UPDATE permissions.
TapOrders
Allowed/restricted line items/flight additions
This feature enables Super Admins to have more control over when Line Items (and Flights) can be added to Orders. The setting for this is located in the Preferences page, under Orders & Workflow. When this feature is enabled, Super Admins can select the Order statuses in which Line Items and Flights can be added.

Updated calculations trashcan icon behavior
We have updated the behavior of the trashcan icon on the Calculations page to ensure that users can see where the calculation is being used across the platform.
Previously, it was a challenge for users to try to find where calculations were used so the records could be removed and the calculations deleted. By providing this information, we’re helping users take the action they are trying to take.

We have updated the behavior of the trashcan icon on the Channels page to ensure that customers can see where the channel is being used across the platform.

ChatGPT Integration with Executive Summaries
Our Dashboard UI now includes the ability to send data from a TapClicks widget into ChatGPT for analysis simplifying the process of creating Executive Summaries. By sending the widget data to ChatGPT you can achieve better quality of your Executive Summaries and it can be more efficient than writing an Executive Summary from scratch. Instant On Connectors
Twitter/X - new fields and updates
We have made the following updates/additions to Twitter/X:
- Added a new field for Bookmarks (public)
- Added a new field for Impressions (public)
- Updated Total Retweets to Retweets (public)
- Updated Total Likes to Likes (public)
These items were renamed because Twitter/X handles fields through their API in different ways. Fields that are marked "public” are available for a longer time than other field types. API fields that are non-public & organic are only available for 30 days after a post is created.
Twitter Ads - added locations as data view
We have added an additional data view to the Twitter Ads connector for location data. This enables users to report on that data set to their end clients.
Google Search Console - added data view
We have added a new data view labeled Queries by Page & Country. Users of the existing Google Search Console connector can now report on performance data related to queries based on page & country. To take advantage of this new data view, please reach out to your customer success manager or customercare@tapclicks.com.
Campaign Manager 360 - added data view
We have added a new data view labeled DMA & Activity. To take advantage of this new data view, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or customercare@tapclicks.com.
Invoca - added fields
The data field Signal Names has been added to the existing Call Details and Transaction Details data views. Users can now report on Signal Names using the existing Call Details and Transaction Details data views.
Simpli.fi - added fields
We have built out a way to enable reporting on audio metrics against campaigns, ads, keywords, domains, and locations. To that end, the following fields have been added:
- Audio Event First Quartile Rate
- Audio Event Midpoint Rate
- Audio Event Third Quartile Rate
- Audio Event Companion Ad Impressions
- Audio Event Complete
- Audio Event Complete Rate
- Audio Event First Quartile
- Audio Event Midpoint

Google Ads - added field and template
We have exposed the Campaign Tracking URL Template field from the Campaign data view onto the Ad Group and Ad data views. We have also exposed an Ad Group Tracking URL Template to the Ad Group and Ads data views. And we have exposed an Ad Tracking URL Template template to the Ad Level.
Users who need to review their UTM codes for specific data views now have the flexibility to do so.
Microsoft Ads - added field and template
We have exposed the Campaign Tracking URL Template field from the Campaign data view onto the Ad Group and Ad data views. We have also exposed an Ad Group Tracking URL Template to the Ad Group and Ads data views. And we have exposed an Ad Tracking URL Template template to the Ad Level.
Users who need to review their UTM codes for specific data views now have the flexibility to do so.
Google Analytics 4 - added support for custom metrics
We have added additional coverage to our Google Analytics 4 connector in order to support the various custom metrics our users build to meet their reporting needs. These fields will be available via our DIY methodology. If you have any questions about this, please reach out to your Customer Service Manager.
Google Local Service Ads - adjusted initial load period
We have adjusted the initial load period to 90 days. Users now have an initial lookback period of 90 days for data.
Simpli.fi - changed field format
The Weighted Actions field has been changed so that the number format no longer includes decimals. The number format has been changed to an integer. Users reporting on Weighted Actions will no longer see a decimal in returned results.
On Demand Connectors
Added ability to promote filters
We now support the ability to promote filters within On Demand Connector widgets to dashboard-level filters. This enables users to scale their dashboard reporting beyond what was previously offered.
Implemented custom filtering logic
We have implemented custom filtering logic on all of the On Demand Connectors supported where filters are either partially or fully unsupported by the vendor directly.
Facebook Ads - added reports
Users can now report on pixels, events, and their stats from Facebook Ads. To see the stats for each pixel, clients need to get the pixel ID from Facebook Events Manager and apply it to the filters, as the widget will show the stats for one Pixel ID at a time. By setting up different widgets for various Pixel IDs, clients can easily analyze and compare their performance.
Smart Connectors
Improved configuration page tooltips
We have improved a number of helper text balloons to assist with Smart Connector creation and edits. These improvements better explain how to use the features of the Smart Connector.
Added Data Load Status icon and message
We have exposed the Daily Fetch Status icon on the Smart Connector overview page (see image below). This also includes a link from the Smart Connector overview page to the Data Load Status page in circumstances where users need more detailed information.
Users can now see their Smart Connector performance right from the main page without having to navigate to the Data Load Status page.
