SmartSlides™ is located under the Reports menu in your TapClicks instance. If you don’t see it, contact your TapClicks Administrator or Customer Success Manager.
Is SmartSlides™ meant to replace Report Studio or Dashboards?
No. SmartSlides™ is designed for quick, executive-level presentations that highlight insights. For detailed, data-rich, or fully customized reports, use Report Studio or Dashboards.
Who is the ideal user for SmartSlides™?
SmartSlides™ is ideal for sales, account managers, and executives who need fast, client-ready presentations. Analysts seeking in-depth data control should continue using Report Studio or Dashboards.
Can I select multiple clients or date ranges for my SmartSlides™ presentation?
SmartSlides™ supports one client per presentation, however it does support creating presentations for entire client groups or business units. Selecting a date range is optional, if no date range is chosen, SmartSlides™ will default to the current month’s data.
What is the Context field used for?
The Context field helps guide the AI. Adding details such as “focus on ROI improvements” or “highlight seasonal performance” tailors both the narrative and visuals to your needs.
Can I change the theme or add my logo?
No, SmartSlides™ uses a standard visual theme designed for quick, self-serve presentation creation. If you need custom branding, you can export your Smart Slides deck as a PowerPoint file and apply your company’s template, or use Report Studio for fully branded reports.
How does SmartSlides™ choose visuals, and what if they don’t fit my industry?
SmartSlides™ automatically selects visuals based on client metadata and the provided context. To improve relevance, include specific industry or style guidance in the Context field (e.g., “real estate – avoid restaurant imagery”) before generating.
What type of data does SmartSlides™ use?
SmartSlides™ uses connected TapClicks data sources and the metrics you select during creation. It focuses on clear, story-driven insights rather than raw data tables.
What file formats can I export?
SmartSlides™ supports exports in PowerPoint (.PPTX) and PDF formats.
Can I edit the slides once they’re generated?
SmartSlides™ cannot be edited within TapClicks. To make changes, you can regenerate the slides with updated data or context, or edit the exported PowerPoint file directly using your preferred presentation software.
Can I organize, rename, or reuse SmartSlides™ setups?
You can save your data source and metric configurations as templates to reuse for future decks. Deck organization features like renaming and filtering are planned for future releases.
