DISCLAIMER: It is possible for features documented in these Release Notes to have their release delayed. This happens in situations where we encounter unexpected software behavior prior to release. In such circumstances, a delayed release will be added to a future release.
Instant On Connectors
SweetIQ - deprecated feed
The SweetIQ API was deprecated by the vendor and as such TapClicks has made the corresponding change.
Triton Audio - added field
We added a new field for “Spots” to the Affidavits data view. Users can now report on spots.
StackAdapt - added fields
We have added two new fields to all StackAdapt data views. Those fields are Secondary Actions and Unique Impressions. Users will now be able to report on the new fields in visualization for their end clients where they previously could not.
MatchCraft - API endpoint updated
We have upgraded of the MatchCraft API endpoint. There change will result in no data interruption for users.
ReachSearch - updated call recording to a player
We have added an additional field to the Call Events data view that will enable users to build widgets that surface audio players for the call recordings. This enables users to sit in a single place and listen to all calls, rather than be sent out of the platform.
Bing Ads - upgraded to Microsoft identity platform endpoint
We have updated the Developer Application used to access the Microsoft Advertising API in order to maintain access to the newest version of their API. This update will require all connections be re-authenticated in order to allow users of Microsoft Advertising to maintain data access. Once that is complete, data will flow as expected.
Xandr Invest - optimized how we pull Creatives
We have made optimizations to the methods used to retrieve Creative information from Xandr Invest in order to allow for better overall performance. This will enable users, who visualize Xandr Invest Creative data, a much better experience when building widgets and reports.
Data Load Status
Exposed timezone on timestamps
We have exposed a message in the top right corner of the Data Load Status page to indicate the timezone of all the timestamps that appear across the Data Load Status Tabs. This additional information on Data Load Status page will help users during troubleshooting.
Update/delete connection option added
This update to the new Data Load Status Page enables a user to update or delete a connection from directly on the Data Load Status page. By offering this ability, users will not need to navigate over to the Manage Data Sources page to modify their connections.
Smart Connectors
New connector - SQL Server
We have added a new connector option for SQL Server. Users can now connect directly to SQL Server.
New delivery type for Amazon Athena
We have added a new connector option for "Amazon Athena". Now, if customers are searching specifically for this delivery type, they can connect direct, instead of through alternative Smart Connectors.
Google Sheets
Migrated existing saved query to instance-based logic
Queries are now saved to the Instance. For users with multiple instances, only the queries pertaining to the specific instance they are logged into will show up in the saved queries menu.
TapOrders
Increased refresh frequency
We have set the data processing for TapOrders data into dashboards, for the consolidated views, to be refreshed more frequently than once per day. This will improve the usability of the dashboard and reports that are used to monitor activities happening in TapOrders.
Bulk move Flights - phase 2
The Placement Management page can now be accessed from a new paper plane icon in the orders list page. It is only shown for orders having at least one line item whose product has “Use Flights as Placements” enabled.
The Placement Management page can also be accessed via the Detailed Order page, and its new “Flights” column is shown for both orders and line items. There are two numbers in that columns: the number of currently associated flights on the left, and the number of historical associations on the right. When the products have “Use Flights as Placements” enabled, these numbers are clickable to go to the Placement Management page. Otherwise the link is shown in blue.
Note also that the Move Flights button in the main Flights page (with a tab for line items, and a tab for flights) is now only shown if “Use Flights as Placements” is enabled.
Upgraded grids with Flight data
Previously, the details of ads were stored at the Flight level, which were not easy to find. When reviewing lists of Tasks on My Tasks or My Queues, the Name, Start Date and End Date would be blank if the Task was associated with a Flight. With this change, now that information is visible.
This change to Flights brings it more in line with Orders and Line Items and closes a serious usability problem. Users may notice the change in the headers. The column hasn’t changed behavior, just the header naming is different based on what Tasks are displayed.
Added Flight Notifications
When editing a Role--specifically an IO Role--users will notice a new section in Flight and Client. This new section enables users to have email notifications sent automatically about something happening in TapOrders or TapWorkflow. The addition of Client and Flights to notifications makes those workflows much more valuable to users for monitoring client billing approvals and Flight activations and optimization.
Reports
New User Favorites feature added
User Favorites is a new feature that allow users to mark a dashboard or report studio as one of their favorites. This addition puts the dashboard or Report Studio into the navigation under the Favorites option. The user can indicate which dashboards or Report Studios they would like to appear in their favorites list by selecting the star icon next to the dashboard or Report Studio they want. Favorites are use-specific, so each user can select what favorites they would like.
