Improved Related Keywords Database Research
Search marketing requires a few specific but essential tools. Amongst them is a reliable keyword research tool to help you find ranking opportunities and keep track of your competition. In December, the New Raven keyword research tool is getting an upgrade that will make both the number and quality of your keyword research results even more powerful than before.
If you are interested in getting access to the New Raven SEO tools in TapClicks, speak to your Account Manager. Once you have access, simply enter a keyword or domain into the keyword research search window and then click on the Related Keywords tab in the results. There you’ll find tons of keyword ranking opportunities.
Skip Header rows
It is not uncommon to have a row of data in a file above the column headers. This might be column totals or some other details. Currently, TapClicks customers needed to delete these rows prior to uploading data.
This update allows you to skip this information at the top of the file and designate which row represents the column headers.
New Smart Connector Templates
Smart Connector templates enable you to add data from certain sources faster and easier using pre-defined mappings. The following data sources / applications now have Smart Connectors being released in December 2020:
- LeadsRX: Grouping Performance
- LeadsRX: Conversions Attribution
Expose Connection ID to assist in Troubleshooting
When working with data connections, it’s helpful to be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. Updated credentials, updated file formats, and other common realities of working with data can make the job of troubleshooting tricky. This feature now makes that process easier for smart connectors.
Often when troubleshooting Smart Connectors on the backend, support teams use a unique Connector ID number. This number is now exposed to you in the application to make troubleshooting any issues easier.

Data Source Updates
BirdEye - New data view - Survey Data
TapClicks has added a set of data views for Surveys and their Responses for Birdeye. Clients will now be able to build visualizations and report on the various Surveys they have configured in Birdeye as well as the Responses.
Facebook Ads - Updated Field - "Video Plays at 95%"
Clients will now be able to report on and visualize the Video Plays at 95% metric for their end clients where previously they were not able to.
Facebook Insights - New Fields - Posts Thumbnail / Smaller Preview
TapCLicks has added a new field for a Thumbnail of the Post Preview within Facebook Insights. Now clients will be able to build table visualizations using the Thumbnail preview. This will allow their clients to see the Post that caused the various engagements.
Floodlight - New Fields - DV360 & DV360 IO
Tapclicks added support for the 'Unknown' Floodlight types in our Floodlight Activities data view. With that we also added in support for additional metrics. Clients can now see all their Floodlight types in a singular data view for cohesive reporting.
Google Ads - Renamed Conversions Data View to "Conversion Details" along with Count field
This update alters the name of our existing Conversion data view to be Conversion Details. This is to help clients when building widgets.
GroundTruth - New Fields - Video Metrics
We have added additional metrics to the Creatives data view for videos for users of the Ground Truth data source.
Local IQ - Update to fetch logic on keyword report
TapClicks has altered the method used to retrieve the Keyword data set from LocalIQ. This was done in partnership with LocalIQ in order to provide a faster method of data retrieval. This enables LocalIQ users in TapClicks to fetch larger data sets in shorter time spans.
Local IQ - New field on Data Views for Advertiser Code
TapClicks has added the field “Advertiser Code” to all of the data views for LocalIQ. Your team will now have an additional method of grouping data when building visualizations and reports.
Local IQ - New fields added to Campaigns data view - Chat Summary metrics
TapClicks has added a group of fields to the Campaigns data view:
- Non-lead Chats
- Total Chats
- Chat Leads
- Sales Chats
- Service Chats
- Other Chats
- Calls Connected
Your team will now be able to visualize and report on these at a higher level for overall Campaign performance.
Local IQ - New Data View - CTV/Web Events
TapClicks has added a new data view in LocalIQ for the CTV/Web Events. Your team will now be able to report on a data set that previously they could not.
Simpli.fi - New Fields - Zip+4 Performance
Zip+4 Performance has been added to several data views in Simpli.fi.
New fields for Simpli.fi have been added for surrounding conversions on a lower level data set.
- Clickthrough Visits
- View Through Visits
Conversion Geo Fence Name/ID
Clients can now see which Zip+4 Codes have created the conversions within their Geo Fences. Which will allow them to better pinpoint where to target moving forward.
Site Impact - New Fields - Campaigns: Heatmap, Browser & Device Clicks
TapClicks has added additional fields to the Campaigns data view for Clicks by Device and Browser as well as the ability to get the link for the heatmap and have it open.
This adds the following fields:
- Desktop Clicks
- Mobile Clicks
- IE Clicks
- Chrome Clicks
- Firefox Clicks
- Safari Clicks
- Other Browser Clicks
- View Heatmap
TapClassifieds - Update Base URL to HTTPS
TapClicks has updated API calls to be done via the HTTPS version rather than HTTP. This is because the HTTPS version is a more secure endpoint and will be more stable long term.
Twitter Ads - New Fields - Inherit "Source Campaign ID"
TapClicks has added the field Source Campaign ID to the Promoted Tweet data view. Your team will now have an additional method of grouping data when building visualizations and reports.
