Platform Updates
Display Order of Current and Prior Periods Changed
The order in which Current Period and Prior Period dates are presented has been changed to match the order in other major platforms, such as Google and Facebook. Where the current and previous periods are displayed, the current period dates appear above the prior period dates, and the prior periods will usually be displayed in a lighter gray color.
SEO Metrics Display Color Changes when Comparing to Prior Period
We're updating the behavior of SEO metrics when comparing to prior period. Now, when metrics such as Page Rank, Position, Bounces, Bounce Rate decrease, the color of the comparison will be displayed in green when it is a desired change. In addition, we're also updating the comparison to be displayed as a value versus a percentage change, where applicable. The following screenshot shows an example of this:
For a list of the metrics and the new behaviors, see SEO Metrics Compared to Prior Periods.
Add Task Assignment History to 'complete' and 'closed' tasks
We now have the ability to view the history associated with a workflow task when it is Completed or Closed. We used to just be able to see the history when it was open or assigned, but we made a UI change and the history is always available now.
New Start Over Button for Order Workflows
We’ve added the ability to restart an order workflows, as well as the previously supported Line item workflow start over. This Order workflow start over will NOT restart line workflows, but will just restart the order workflows. Like the Line restart, the restarting point is configurable in the workflows and the button to restart is on the bottom of the order page.
Validation logic for "starts with"
We have added field validation logic. We’ve added a “Field must start with“ logic so that any field that has this logic in it can be configured to start with the configured logic. The validation code is “startsWith:” Place this in the validation area on a field. In the pictured example below, “Frog” exact character match would need the be the first 4 characters in this field.
Upload status bar UI enhancements
Made a UI change to make the file name easier to read while it is uploading. Also have the ability to abandon the import.
Workflow Versioning UI update to provide more information
We are just adding some helpful information to the object so people know more about it without clicking into it.
Smart Connector Updates
Microsoft Azure SQL Server
New Smart Connector Connection Type for “Microsoft Azure SQL Server”. For clients that house their data on a Microsoft Azure SQL Server, data can be brought directly into TapClicks without having to port that data to another delivery point.
Smart Connector Definition Changes
This feature prevents changes to Smart Connector definitions after data has started loading. You should leverage the standard approach if you need to make changes after data has loaded: bomb the data, make changes, and refresh the fetches.
Box and Microsoft OneDrive
Two new tiles have been added to the “Smart Connector Marketplace” in “Manage Data Sources”: one for Box and one for Microsoft OneDrive. By clicking on these tiles, you will be presented with a Smart Connector definition screen where the Data Delivery Type will be pre-populated to either of those target systems. Also these tiles have been added to Manage Services, so that if you search in Manage Services, you can find these tiles.
Quick Mapping Data Added to Google Big Query
The Google Big Query Smart Connector now has the option to Quick Map by writing a SQL query on the configuration screen to pull in just mapping data.
Email Address Used for Authentication
For those Smart Connectors that point to the “TapAccess” delivery type, this enhancement indicates the email address / username that was used to authenticate to the providing instance.
Now, in the event that a consuming instance needs to re-authenticate, they will know which account they need to log into the providing instance as.
Expose Connection ID for Newly Connected Smart Connectors
In the mapping screen for Smart Connectors and other Services, there is a list of connected accounts. This enhancement exposes the back-end connection ID for that credential set, even if data has not been mapped yet. This ID helps with troubleshooting and is also required for functions like Blind Mapping. By exposing the ID at first connection, you will not need to reach out to Technical Support to help identify the ID value.
