TapClicks Platform
Removal of AI Tools Tab from Platform Settings
TapClicks has removed the AI Tools tab from Platform Settings as part of our broader AI strategy. Instead of requiring users to select which AI platform or model to use, TapClicks now manages this process internally. Our team evaluates and applies the most effective models for each AI-powered feature, ensuring optimal performance and flexibility without user intervention. This change means every AI tool in TapClicks will always use the best model for the job, no extra setup needed. If you have questions, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or contact support@tapclicks.com.
AI Context Tab in Client Records
TapClicks has introduced a new AI Context tab within Client Records, giving agencies a centralized place to upload and manage client-specific context such as contracts, creative briefs, strategy decks, and internal notes. This tab organizes valuable background information that will soon be consumed by TapClicks’ AI-powered features, AI Insights Agents, SmartSlides™, SmartEmail™, and Operator Agents. As these capabilities expand, the AI Context tab will help ensure AI-generated insights and recommendations are tailored to each client’s goals, tone, and KPIs.
Data Features
Exposed Relationships on Data Lookup Fields
Users can now view relationships between fields and data lookups before deleting them. This visibility helps prevent accidental removals and makes it easier to manage dependencies across datasets. This improvement provides greater transparency and simplifies field maintenance within the TapClicks platform.
Enhanced Timestamp Handling in Data Exporter
Data Exporter now preserves full datetime values, including timezone, for all newly created exporters. Many sources such as ecommerce, call tracking, and SmartConnector™ feeds provide precise timestamps, and exporting only the date portion could previously lead to dropped or misinterpreted fields in downstream systems. CSV formatting has also been refined to ensure DATE and DATETIME fields are represented consistently. Existing exporters remain unchanged for full backward compatibility.
New Advanced Function – {{SUBSTR}}
We’ve introduced the {{SUBSTR}} function to advanced calculations. This function allows you to return a specific portion of a string based on its position and length. With {{SUBSTR}}, you gain precision control over text fields, enabling cleaner extractions, standardization, and targeted transformations without additional processing steps.
New Advanced Function – {{SPLIT}}
The {{SPLIT}} function is now available in advanced calculations. This function enables you to break down a string into multiple parts based on a specified delimiter. {{SPLIT}} helps you extract meaningful components (e.g., domain from email, city from address) directly within the connector, simplifying analysis and increasing flexibility in handling raw data.
New Advanced Function – {{CONCAT}}
We have added the {{CONCAT}} function to advanced calculations. This function lets you combine values from multiple fields or strings into a single result. With {{CONCAT}}, you can easily build unified labels, merge attributes, and create richer context within your data, reducing reliance on external transformation tools.
New Advanced Function – {{REPLACE}}
We have expanded advanced calculation capabilities with the addition of the {{REPLACE}} function. This new function allows you to easily find and substitute text within your data fields, enabling faster cleanup, reformatting, and transformation of values without needing external preprocessing.
TapReports
Benchmark-Driven Insights in AI Agents
AI Insights Agents now automatically factor in benchmark values when generating summaries in Dashboards and Report Studio. This enhancement allows marketers to instantly see how performance compares to industry averages, such as CTR or CPC, within generated insights. It’s an easy way to add benchmark context to reports and proposals, enriching data storytelling and client discussions.
Templates in SmartSlides™
Creating polished presentations is now even faster with Templates in SmartSlides™. Users can save, reuse, and edit templates that capture their preferred SmartSlides™ configurations, including data sources, prompts, and visual layouts. This feature makes it simple to:
- Build branded presentations in just a few clicks
- Ensure consistent formatting across teams
- Reduce manual setup and eliminate repetitive work
- Maintain accuracy and reliability across recurring reports
SmartSlides™ Templates bring efficiency and consistency to every presentation.
Create SmartSlides™ from Dashboards
SmartSlides™ now allows users to build presentations and templates directly from their existing dashboards. This enhancement carries over dashboard structure, widget layout, filters, and sections automatically, eliminating the need to rebuild configurations manually. This update reduces setup time, ensures dashboard-to-presentation alignment, and supports more consistent data storytelling across formats. As dashboards evolve, linked SmartSlides™ templates automatically inherit widget changes and filter updates, keeping reports current without additional work.
Autofocus for TapMap Widgets
TapMap widgets now include an Auto Focus option for both Heat Map and Bubble Map plot types. This enhancement automatically centers the map on relevant geographies, improving readability and saving users time when analyzing regional performance across multiple clients or dashboards.
TapOrders
Copy Flights Control in Cloned Orders
A new preference setting, “Do not show Copy Flights option when Cloning Orders & Line Items,” gives admins greater control during the cloning process. When enabled, TapClicks hides the Copy Flights option, ensuring new campaigns start fresh with the correct dates and budgets. By default, this setting remains disabled, preserving existing behavior for users who prefer the current workflow.
Linked Comments for Better Context
Comments throughout TapOrders now include direct links to the related Order, Line Item, Flight, or Task.
This makes collaboration more seamless by showing exactly where each comment originated and allowing users to jump directly to the referenced record, improving speed, clarity, and context.
Client Forms in the New Orders & Workflow Experience
Client Forms are now fully supported in the New Orders & Workflow experience. Users can create, edit, and manage Client Forms with the same capabilities available for Orders, Products, and Flights, including tabs for Details, Form, Rate Card, and Workflow. Forms also sync with Classic, providing a unified experience for all form types.
Automatic Flight Generation for Line Items
In New Orders & Workflow, Flights can now be automatically generated when saving a Line Item, based on predefined settings on the associated Product. This enhancement removes the need to manually create flights, saving time and ensuring consistent setup across campaigns. Users can also easily regenerate flights when dates or values change that impact the broken out flights, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in the order workflow.
