Instagram Social replaced by Instagram Professional
The current Instagram Social feed within TapClicks will no longer retrieve new data as of March 2, 2020, due to an API deprecation by Facebook.
Going forward, this data will be available through a new connector, but will only be available to clients with an Instagram Professional account (either Business account or Creator account) that is tied to a Facebook page. This is a new Facebook requirement.
Required Client Action
Upgrade your Instagram Account.
- Login to your Instagram Account
- Go to your Profile, then click on the three horizontal lines in the upper right hand corner
- Then on this screen, click on “Settings”
- Then click on “Account”
- Scroll to the bottom and click on “Switch to Professional Account”
- From here you can select either a Business or Creator Account.
- Both account types are supported in this TapClicks Connector
